No, they are currently going for about 0.06 out of which steam takes 0.02 so you get a whopping 0.04 per card. If you kept and sold all the cards you’d have about 2€ in your pocket. Though early on you can get as much as 0.08 so there’s great riches to be had.
0.01 is 1 cent (0.1 = 10cents not 1)
most cards sell for 0.04 = “4cents” of which you get 2, (currently the steam awards card go for more), so it’s not much, but not that small as “100-1cent”
and a very few of those cards are then valuable enough to turn to gems instead of direct sale, depending on price fluctuation
most cards will give you 2 bucks for 100 cards -yay profit +big payday
the only “problem” as i see it, is if you spend X seconds putting a 2cent card for sale well, then you gotta be able to do it “fast enough” to be “worth it”, thus imo automated setup needed. Otherwise you are spending more seconds than is worth the 2cents
like how “picking up a penny” is “technically” not considered worth it today, because the “action” is more “expensive” than the “reward”
say if you make 20bucks an hour at work, that means each of your seconds everyday is worth (20/60)/60=0.00555555cents per second. So if you use 4 seconds(=0.022) or more per 2cent profit(or worse -on picking up penny) then you are already losing out on either; “wasting” your precious time or potential earnings. (a bit oversimplified)
but, that ofc doesn’t change the fact that it can be pretty nice when you sell 500 cards, and got “free” 10 bucks to spend on a steam game(or whatever crazy stuff to buy on the platform)
-so definitely worthwhile to consider selling for some if not using cards to lvl up "many drops make a river"(or however the saying goes)
And selling pubg is a good way to get free steam credit (ive gotten about 6 games this way and have almost completly made back how much i spent on the game)
i ain’t touching that game with a 30feet pole
nor CSgo
no matter how much “potential” “profit” they might provide from items off play, -i’d rather spend my time on something i could enjoy while playing
*ooh look, minesweeper. Damn i died again
Understandable I personally really enjoy PUBG as a sandbox but Its not for everyone. CSGO on the other hand a game I wasted 300 hours in and i now despise.
yea unless people enjoy the game, imo it becomes “work” to get the items/profit, and then i think there would just be other stuff for “work” i’d prefer to do to make the necessary “wallet bucks” appear
while my brother enjoyed CSgo he did make a decent wallet buck once in a while, but not enough to keep him playing after he lost interest,
in the end, it’s supposed to be fun/enjoyable to game for all us “non-professionals” -but being able to make some wallet funds here or there, while playing something fun, is ofc a sorta bonus win-win scenario while it lasts
(tho, to my dying grave i’ll never be able to understand why people are willing to pay that kind of money for those games’ kinds of skins… they are like, some of the most boring in gaming ever imo )
I never said to keep playing it if you dont enjoy it. If you dont enjoy the game dont play it.

*In my defense most of these were gifted by a single friend who gifts me a bunch of the cheaper games on my wishlist once a year and makes my year every time.
How did you get so many games gifted to you. What is this wizardry.
Hahaha! @Enki and @acb234 you guys made me giggle. Honestly I almost backspaced all of that into oblivion and only left my purchases because I suddenly felt very awkward by the amount of gifts I got.
Dudes and dudettes, I really don’t know the answer to that.
Maybe I am a mind controlling wizard from the future?
BRB, gonna see if I can finally grow that mighty beard now.
We must know your secrets because i was only gifted a single game this year.
*Santa Claus is her uncle
-CONFIRMED!
Welp i only just noticed you said this.
The Imperius Curse (Imperio) is a tool of the Dark Arts, and is one of the three Unforgivable Curses. It is one of the most powerful and sinister spells known to wizardkind. When cast successfully, the curse places the victim completely under the caster’s control, though a person with exceptional strength of will is capable of resisting it.
I got about 17 games gifted to me too but that’s because I give people so many presents they feel obliged to give me ones If you have another method… or a source of magic, you need to let me know
Or we could team up and take over the world!
Maybe… I’m just charming?
I can dig that.Together we shall own every single Steam game! Even the shitty ones! evil laugh
Even the asset flips or page listings that aren’t actually games?
Go big or go home, dear.
I bought:
Armello Collector’s Edition Bundle (I was missing some DLC’s and it was cheaper this way):
FEZ (cause it was really cheap during this Winter sale and I always wanted to play this game):
Skylar & Plux:
