After reading your review on steam i really regret not picking this up during the sale, despite considering
-wishlist continues to grow
Just checked your game library - Gemini Rue is also a lot of fun. In fact I’d go so far as to recommend all of the Wadjet Eye games.
Thx xist ,
-took a look and it’s definitely added to my list!
ever get the feeling; that even if a person retired “right now,” and played games full time, you’d still never even get to play all the (decent) games made?
just keeps finding “new” ones every day
well the steam sale may be over but the humble sale just started, and @Enki I had no idea someone loved you so much they made a game in your name
B-but… where are the sloths? )))):
lol i saw that one too
(noticed it was currently cheaper on steam tho -50cent, for some weird reason a bunch of MSRP’s on humble are currently higher than steam’s base prices)
I even considered buying it, just for the sole purpose of having “gnuffi now owns Enki” pop up in the steam feed
but thought in the end it might be too corny , -even if only 49cents
the gnome could own the sloth.
and then you could write a book about the adventures you have.
it’d be perfect.
though a terrible mount.
also that pricing thing is weird, normally humble and steam are pretty cooperative with their sales prices.
i doubt riding around on “Enki mount” would be worse than the damn slow turtle mount
yea, i decided to stop trying to browse through humble manually after i found several with higher base price for some reason, and just wait for ITAD notifications if there were actual discount competitors for my list (pretty hard to compete price/discount wise if base is higher lol)
well, at least a Sloth mount would be pretty deadly, and be able to claw at your foes with extreme prejudice.
also have you checked your local currencies are coming through? humble used to have a problem with currencies coming through, it used to say everything in dollars for me.
also just checked, Virgina is NOT ON SALE AT STEAM but is less than 1 dollar on humble, that game seemed interesting and then flopped online so i never bothered with it, time to generate my own opinion ya’ll?.. also silent age for the same reason
also I just checked Everything I’m buying is only on sale on humble and not on sale at steam, I just compared them. stick of truth, blackguards, virgina, silent age, retro game crunch and the witcher series which I still have never played yet
yea definitely wasn’t a currency issue, (both coming through as €) but a base msrp difference for a couple of games(if you notice in the example Enki is 10 bucks on Humble but only 5 on steam)
another one i can recall on hand was adam venture chronicles, think it said 15 bucks humble and 10 on steam
that’s the strange part -so not to cross reference each and every title (tho i’m sure it’s probably only a handful with that “issue”) i decided just to wait for ITAD
funny thing about virginia, i thought the exact “opposite”, -“not worth a dollar to “gamble”, just to form my own opinion in case it’s actually boring” Tho the final jury is still slightly out on that one, since i do have a couple of spare Humble wallet cents and the monthly discount to sweeten the “gamble” more
strange how silent age was also in consideration, -you peeking over my shoulder?? -time to strap on an extra layer of foil on head, upgrade locks on doors, firewalls, and assemble the faraday cage
PS, witcher is also on sale on GOG atm, might be worth to check your local pricing, depending on humble bonus discounts etc, since i believe humble is giving GOG keys anyway
(i definitely don’t regret buying the game (on steam tho), it’s awesome imo)
Gnuffi stop editing, more text is appearing as I’m reading
ah well, I dunno what it is then :3 and I usually check steam before I buy anyway, so its no worry to me. enki is a bit of a weird game anyway weird games are not really reliable for sales xD
and well, damn, now I can’t read your mind any more
go go gadget all your memories are fake.
and I have the rest of the witcher series on GOG anyway and Im only paying 5 p extra to get humble wallet credit 5% so I don’t mind that. I get more than 5 p back as credit so its all good.
yea, GOG can be awesome with some local pricing and their wallet back program etc,
aaand then Humble ofc can come be all like “yo, my man, look what i have, 10% here, 5% there, you like what i’m offering? -meet me in the alley round back” so pennies suddenly turn into “dollars”
sometimes they don’t even put on the brakes and you get “everything” at once, making for some nuts bonus “discount” when it all adds up
discount/prepurchase, check, + “monthly sub” bonus, check, + wallet bonus, check, “add 5% to charity because feeling guilty now”, check
I think you mean “add 5% to my wallet because MMM BONUS”
I’d never heard that before today >.>
Used to think so too, but as I’ve gotten older I’ve started preferring Fazer.
It’s fine too but I like dumb Marabou flavors like sea salt fudge much more.
