I’ve been watching the videos from Youtubers of my country with theories and leaks almost everyday, heh. I have great expectations for this movie!

I can really relate to this…

It was intended as a joke, but it really does seem like they test crash the server on purpose right before a sale.

Looks like it’ll be tomorrow (Wednesday) rather than today (Tuesday).

Oh, all right, heh. Looks like I missed it.

Anyway, the sale’s gonna start at 3:00 p.m. in my country. I even put a reminder on my phone’s calendar about it.

The hype is real. :+1:

I just finished creating an entire Imgur album of gifs for Arcane’s music video (one of them at least) and created two Wallpaper Engine themes for it.

Send help y’all, because…

I tried my hand at making Japanese style curry a little while ago. Which turned out pretty good, though it took a godawful lot of time to make.

What makes it Japanese you might ask, the amalgamation of ideas from a number of different countries and cultures that they’ve decided is now uniquely theirs. That’s what. You might think being in reasonable proximity to India their curry ideas would be directly influenced from there, but no. Japanese curry is instead based on the yellow spice mixture that the Brits brought home, bastardized and then popularized in most of Europe and around the commonwealth. So that’s a bit amusing. Now most people in Japan would be using readily available commercial “roux blocks” containing everything necessary to make and season the stew but they’re far less readily available elsewhere. So when I found a recipe proclaiming to having recreated the taste of the Japanese curry without the use of those I was curious to try it.

As you can see the resulting mixture is neither yellow nor red but a somewhat unseemly brown. This is because it is based neither on tomato nor cream, but caramelized onions. In fact this sauce is almost all caramelized onion and carrots, which is also why it took so long to make. You don’t want the onions just lightly caramel and glossy like you might for topping a hotdog with, we’re going all the way to a deep cinnamon paste like situation before we’re doing anything else. This along with the curry powder is what makes up the basis for the flavour and thickening of the whole stew. I was rather surprised with how thick and smooth the sauce became considering there’s actually no added flour or other starches involved.

This is the recipe and method I used if anyone else is interested in trying it out for themselves.

Steam, you silly goose. What is the point of ignoring something if you will still be forced to see it?

Stay safe! Cases are pretty high all around. Fortunately there has been over 7 billion doses of the vaccine given world wide and so hopefully most people would just have mild symptoms after vaccination. But still, our local hospitals and ERs are swamped…

So I’ve been watching an LTT Black Friday stream; they got to Legos, I saw this:

and I’m thinking what the hell, I thought CAD was like 0.8 USD… was it 0.08?
Turns out - no, I’ve just missed the moment when Lego became a brand like Gucci or smth.

Literary tenth of those tags, is what it would have to cost to even begin entering the realm of not completely fucking insane. And even then it would be an extremely overpriced, ugly-ass, useless, plastic crap.

Our exchange is higher and so are our taxes but that’s because of healthcare. Legos are the bane of plastics…

My brother posted this on Fakebook. Sounds just like him too…

Those of you who are placing Christmas lights/decorations in your yards, can you please avoid anything that has Red or Blue flashing lights together? Every time I come around the corner, I think it’s the police and I have a panic attack!! I have to brake hard, toss my alcohol, fasten my seat belt, throw my phone on the floor, turn my radio down, and push the gun under the seat. All while trying to put my clothes back on.

It’s just too much drama, even for Christmas.

Thank you for your cooperation!!

Even though I am sad, I am also content that he lived a full life and contributed so much to our world.

I’ve always wondered that myself. I ignore so much stuff only to scroll and see dozens of the things I don’t ever want to see. What a redundant system. :joy:

It seems Valve got the functionality of a search engine and the ignore button mixed up.

Whenever I want to be sure I won’t see a certain game, I try searching for it on Steam.
