No thanks @onLooSe, I appreciate the offer but I wouldn’t use it myself, I have Dawn of War III and no interest in playing that one either, I only put that on my library for this MWNL (non)event. Now I wish I hadn’t bothered.
What a damp squid this year’s MWNL is turning out to be.

It feels really bad… I even installed company of heroes 2, which I wasn’t intending to before the event … I kinda miss my 30 GBs, but I will probably stick 'till the end to see if I can get at least something useful. (probably won’t)
Even the games for the SEGA Mega Drive & Genesis Classics were huge disappointment. I doubt they will ever give out Sonic game, but after last years Golden Axe 2, I was hoping for my childhood favorite - the 3rd one.

Yes, I can’t see them giving away anything like Sonic either, not even the really bad ones but the decision to gift games already gifted from the previous two years is extremely disappointing. I too shall leave Dawn of War III installed until it is over, just in case. Thanks anyway, mate, Warhammer isn’t really my thing.

It seems all the rewards were delivered - I got the Viking: Battle for Asgard game too, but only after logging in in the event web page like some ppl claimed on reddit. So log in from time to time there and eventually check on the progress if you are interested

I like the Vikings game, got it for PS4, I enjoy the hack and slash games.

games are added/delivered straight to your library account - hence the steam account linking on entry
the way to know and check if you got it (if you’ve successfully registered ofc) is:
- voucher will appear in inventory. ie inventory notification will be there
this means you received X MWNL entry in your account
- go to your steam account info: view license and product activation
and you’ll see a “MWNL5 Day 1” entry
which games/rewards you got from that, ofc, entirely depends on what was already present in your library
- if you didn’t own Vikings, it will automatically have been added to your library -without notification (only clue you actually got something will be the coupon inventory notification)
- If you already owned Vikings, no such game would have been added -it was already there
- even if you don’t own Total War Warhammer - the dlc will still somehow have been added to you library for some reason this time
(normally dlc can’t be added to account without owning a main game),
i have confirmed this for now myself on other account that didn’t own Warhammer, yet when visiting store page it says it owns the Grave dlc, and when i’m on my own account it also says friends account owns dlc - but not main game lol.
Maybe this weird dlc behavior will change later, no clue, just very strange imo

I’m in until Day 3 purely because of this…who knows if I’ll ever get the base game but since I object to buying dlc I’d be a fool to turn down freebies.

I got my coupon for DoWII Retribution, so I’m assuming anyone who signed up got the codes automatically redeemed. I’d check if you have a mediocre game about Vikings in your library.

it can take up to 24 hours to get your stuff
-tho does seem a bit weird a bunch of us got ours already and you didn’t get yours
…wonders if something went wrong with registration somewhere 
maybe you need to “log in” on the event web page like @onLooSe mentioned

Is this a glitch? I don’t own or have played any of the listed games, especially not during this whole event thing, but I was still given the coupon, Viking, and the DLCs. was I wrong in thinking that if you didn’t play you don’t get the rewards?

as suspected, you probably only had to sign up + link account then Sega just hands out too all that did when the goal is met, regardless of whether or not you actually played
-the not owning participating games is probably just another mixup of theirs (see how dlc was given to people not owning base game), or just intentionally overlooked with only “sign up” registry being combined with rewards
bonus for us slackers is guess (tho not like the rewards feel like worthy of much participation effort anyway this time around)

I logged in on the event page soon after getting the email. (Which doesnt work on my phone for some reason)
It said something about 2 additional free games, 1 of which being Streets Of Rage 2 (other one I don’t remember). But nothing so far except the MWNL registration on my steam account.

The games come in Sega’s emulator package, so you wont find Revenge of Shinobi and Streets Of Rage 2 in your library. Look for “SEGA Mega Drive and Genesis Classics” instead.
