I had a good wee chuckle there mate, sorry. I think Viking is the game being given away today if the goals are met, along with Total War Warhammer DLC. If not today, tomorrow.

Looks like 500k was just about reached yesterday. But the icon on day 1 is still padlocked, so what happens now?

I don’t know why they decided to cover up the day’s stats once the day is over, that seems dumb. I would want to actually see the complete statistics.

We all give up and call the whole thing off.

Well, doing the maths at this moment, total hours showed 568.095, minus the current 6.670 played hours for today’s game equals 561.425 hours for the first game, 61k over the goal.

What I don’t get is that on Steam you cannot get DLC for a game you do not own, right? Yet they are giving away the DLC for Company of Heroes 2 - Victory at Stalingrad Mission Pack on Day Two and the game itself on Day 5, so unless you have the game first you won’t get the DLC and if you have the game, you won’t need it on Day 5. Unless they are going to gift it to you retroactively after they said they would that reward is pointless on day two.

To be quite honest, after seeing that “Rewards,” Listed above and how they appear to be correct I am not going to bother with this anymore for this year. I got all these games over the last two years and giving me DLC for a game I do not own is going to be pointless because they won’t give me the DLC unless I have the game, so it is not like I can buy the game later and then add it via key because this year they are dumping it straight to your Steam Account, which I can understand but it doesn’t work out for me, so I am out.

I thought it reset daily, does it not? Is it collectively adding up total time and then releasing the games when the goal is reached. It is all poorly explained and if it is explained, where is it at?

This year seems like a complete waste of everyone’s time to be honest, unless you have those games already. Which if you have played in previous years, you probably do.

Hm? There’s a display for total hours, played hours on the current game and the required hours.

What are the Prizes?
For each day that the combined hourly target is met, we will release a bundle of content*, direct to your Steam library, that will contain a mixture of a free SEGA game, DLC and/or great discount coupons on select SEGA releases.
*Content will be delivered within 24 hours of each day’s target being met

I believe they won’t give anything if the target isn’t met and it will move on to the next day. First time I join this, so, that’s all I can understand.

I’m pretty much on the same page. There’s a link to the source of these reveals somewhere that shows the steam packages so I’m quite sure it’s accurate.

Umm, the day 2 reward is DLC for company of heroes 2, the day 5 reward is company of heroes, i.e. the first game

right?

They say change is good. But not in this case.

I unsubscribed.:disappointed:

I kind of wish I never mentioned it now. Extremely disappointing this year. How do they expect to get the numbers participating, if they award the same games again this year as they did for the last two?

I realise they don’t wish to award AAA brand new games but SEGA is old, they have Sonic games they could gift for their Megadrive collection or something not done before, but they gave us Streets of Rage 2, a game I got from the same event last year as well as Binary Domain, Alpha Protocol, Viking and Renegade Ops.

This video sums up Make War Not Love 2018.
