I skipped all of them so far actually as they pretty much require special consumable item to kill and i’m too lazy to farm it now

Yeah , game = good. But one needs to ditch and erase all muscle memory from Dark Souls and Bloodborne for Sekiro as it plays in completely different way.

I’ve just finished Midnight Protocol (thanks to @Sortskjegg for the game)

I wouldn’t call it a hacking game, it’s definitely a turn based strategy game with a hacking theme, but what it does, it does really well.

It’s entirely keyboard-driven with a custom OS as your ‘home’ and a pseudo terminal as your input for the game field. which is a cool cyberpunk representation of nodes and firewalls etc.
You have a ‘deck’ of programs that you take with you into the mission, and you have to manage the memory allocation of those programs as you use them to accomplish your goals. In between missions you can swap out the hardware and programs on the deck to change your approach

There is also a morality system in the game (kind of) you can take whitehat, greyhat or blackhat actions and that changes what tools become available to you at what point through a reputation system. It doesn’t really translate to the real world definitions of those terms but it’s very thematic

I really enjoyed it, the story was engaging, and the mechanics and the theme were right up my alley!

I have recently played a game called crsed f.o.a.d like any other shooting game but with a twist. It is freaking funny and crazy. You can beat the other person to death with a kitchen utensil or anything you come in front of. I don’t know if any of you heard of it or played it, but I had no idea about its existence until a mention from my paper writer. It has multiple playing modes, like you can play solo, or duo, or with your team. There are 8 characters with unique set of skills and can gain supernatural powers too. It is really great as a free game and I think it’s really underrated. In 1 sitting I am on level 10 and had a great experience. It has a pay to win option though which obviously includes a few more benefits, but I just prefer to play free for fun. Recommended :+1:

FFXIV, Squad and Monster Hunter: Rise!

Pretty obsessed with FFXIV. My sister and I play it almost every day. We’re trying to max out our classes and disciplines, and we’re taking on high-end duties that would drive others insane. Our ultimate goal? To do the REALLY hard-core stuff like the Alexander duties. We’re also on a mount farming craze. lol

Squad…Squad is a game I will always love, even if the devs are rather scummy and incredibly rude and disrespectful. I’m always looking for its replacement though, because I honestly feel dirty supporting the game knowing just how problematic the devs are. I’m hoping ARMA 4/Reforger will be that for me, or Operation: Harsh Doorstep.

And for Monster Hunter: Rise, I love it so much. The DLC drops June 30th and I’m so stoked for it. Hoping I can figure out how to grab it on GMG, but honestly, the best thing about MH series is that the DLC is never “out-dated” so I’ve got some time. The fanbase seems to only grow with each day, too! Right now there are 13k at average playing it on Steam alone. lol

I didn’t get to play for long, but ah, so pretty. Made me think of XI with updated graphics, etc. At the time, my character was a cute kitty, purr.

Arma Reforger.

Okay, so… the game is fun? Well, when it works. I betrayed Monster Hunter: Rise for this, and I got the burn I deserved.

It definitely performs comically better FPS wise than Arma 3, but it’s got a slew of other problems. Namely, the worst yet, is that disconnects are literally SO BAD that you cannot stay connected for more than five or ten minutes. It’s much worse on 64 person servers, even if absolutely no one else is ON the server. So it doesn’t matter if its 16, 32, 64 or ZERO, you will be disconnected. I think I have about an hour in it, and I kid you not, only about 20 minutes of that if I were being generous, was me actually playing the game.

Aside from the problems, when it was working, I was having some fun? I think? It’s hard to have actual fun though when you can’t find people to team up with or attack the objective with, because they disconnected eight times in a row.

I do sorta regret buying it for this reason because money is always so limited for me, so I would absolutely recommend against Reforger for a month or two if you don’t buy a lot of games. For those who were just curious? Wait as well. They should have this issue out by then and if not, well… what a waste of money.

Did you buy it on steam? Play more than 2 hours? U could always try to request a refund. Sometimes u can get lucky and get a refund after 2 hours.

I have 106 minutes my profile says, but Steam support said its reading 2 hours on their end. So unfortunately I cannot get a refund for it. Hopefully the game becomes playable by the end of the week though.

I had a 2.5 hour game get refunded once. I still say give it a try unless u really want to keep it. :+1:

Yea, I did try. They said there was nothing they could do, because I have over 2 hours in it. I guess its okay, the game will be playable soon unless BI just royally poos the bed, but it does make me realize just how bad the 2hr refund window is. Like yikes!

Recently I’ve been enjoying playing Playne and Siralim Ultimate.

One is helping me to deal with my constant thoughts and anxiety while the other has a lot of content and loot to collect. It’s like Pokémon but with many things to do. :+1:

I’ve also liked from another game which surprised me, which is…

At least for the first part. So far I’ve seen three bugs, which are:

  • Invisible starter gun (Unity);
  • My buddy going through a locker and making a mess on the first mission of the game. He didn’t get stuck, though.
  • T-Posing in the start of the cutscene where there’s a passage of time between you and this friend you met after trying to steal a car from a Japanese guy and get beat by the police.

And yes I’m playing with mods. Not that many, though.

Nice! I want to binge play Siralim, hence keeping my hands off it for now. O_O Glad Cyberpunk is enjoyable. I think people were disappointed that the world wasn’t that open, but I dunno how much has changed.

I ran outta sub for FFXIV and have had nothing to keep my mind on. I got an email from Blizzard saying they gave me 30 days of subscription to come back and play World of Warcraft, so I’ve been doing that. The first time I tried it, I was…unimpressed. I knew nothing and was frustrated at every turn trying to learn the game because it literally teaches you NOTHING. This time around though, as hard as the lore is to follow as there’s no traditional quest journal that guides you along the main story, I’ve been enjoying the Legion storyline a lot. Before that though, I was thrown into Battle for Azeroth with my first character and really, really enjoyed the Zuldazar story, too!

I now simp Illidan Stormrage 110% though.

Stellaris.

I forgot how relaxing and addictive this game is. What a shame how emptier it feels without the DLC though. When I play with my friends who have them all, it’s packed full of content, but playing by myself you really feel the emptiness in features. I wish their stupid DLC was cheaper at least, really love this game, just can’t really find any fun playing it barebones. For that alone, I never recommend the game unless people can get the DLC.

And MultiVersus!

Smash Bros. but on PC! I love it a lot. I do have some gripes about skillsets not being as expansive as Smash Bros, but it IS beta, so maybe more will come? If not, it’s still a lot of fun. I do wish there were more items to use, and cheering sounds for ringouts or even chanting of character names for those in lead just like in Smash, but beyond that I like it a lot!

Well, I confess I’ve been addicted to the game below because it’s So. Frigging. Good!

I’ve bought it with all the DLCs, and despite me still being on the first floors it’s a very enjoyable game. I highly recommend this, especially with mods!
