Humble Choice monthly - What Are You Choosing and Why?

OMG yes please!!! lol

I wonder if there’s anyone who wants Borderlands 3 but does not yet have it.

First time I’ve skipped day 1, also noticed they’ve made it harder to find the skip option. You used to be able to access the manage plan buttons from the choice page directly, now you have to go into your account options to find it. That really speaks loudly to me.

I bought Borderlands 3 like a month ago with the Epic coupon for 5€.
If not I might’ve gone for it, since I am pretty interested in Everhood.
I must admit I came here to see if anyone had said something about the pause/skip option. I couldn’t find it :see_no_evil:
I bought a yearly subscription in 2018 and I still have months left of that one year… At this rate I feel like I’ll be keeping those months for a while longer!

Black Book is on my WL and not hyped over Borderlands 3.

Bundle has in a lot of world building games if that’s your thing.

Everhood looks cool to me @Riouz Music games are always intriguing.

Other than that, I should have Calico on Itch, the game is durn cute. So many pets!

Humble helpfully unpaused my sub this morning - didn’t autocharge though. Got to see for myself how hidden the pause is now, coz if that is their “we listened” tactic, that just sucks.

well, duh, obviously me, lol, which makes the bundle worth it for me by itself; and all dlc is 67% off. I’ve been waiting since release for a good deal on the whole shebang

Well congrats I suppose. This isn’t “the whole shebang” though, the directors cut DLC seems to be like all the other DLC mostly negative and doesn’t seem to have provided much that anyone actually wanted.

Per Aspera and to some degree Before we leave looks intriguing to me, but they also look like time sinks and I can’t seem to find the desire to play games these days.

I’m only interested in Black Book from this bundle, I think I’ll just wait until it’s on a better sale on its own.

yeah, i know, but like i said, i got the season pass 67% off, and since I got a year off Humble at Black Friday last year and only unpause when i rly want it, it’s good value for me for the whole shebang since im not actually now paying for the bundle itself; i paid for it over a year ago so that money is long gone anyways, lol

Fun fun. If you don’t pay for the Humble Choice month, you can’t actually download anything from Trove. Used to be as long as your sub, was active, you could grab something, then pause.

The Humble App is needed for stuff too. This :chipmunk: doesn’t feel “heard”, just mad. ><

Excuse my French but WTF( I very seldom use this.), Humble??? I need an app to get to the Trove??? Did you notice when I deleted that email you sent me about it???

I bet they aren’t DRM FREE are they???

I gonna have to see when I’m less miffed. Bet there is a discussion on Reddit or Steamgifts.

from what I am reading…there are 2 sections now…The Trove which is still DRM Free but I don’t see any mention of DRM Free in The Humble COLLECTION

Come February, we’re also giving Choice members an entirely new way to play: the Humble Games Collection, an ever-growing curated library of games you can access and enjoy while you’re a Choice member. In the Humble Games Collection, you’ll find community and critical favorites you might have missed and find lots of good fun to return to again and again.

The Humble Games Collection will debut in February with these acclaimed titles from Humble Games, with more games added monthly:

  • Forager
  • Wizard of Legend
  • Dodgeball Academia
  • Unsighted
  • Void Bastards

Choice members will be able to access the titles in the Humble Games Collection by downloading the new Humble app for Windows PC. (Note that you’ll lose access to these games if you skip a month or cancel your membership.) Check out our new Humble Games Collection page to learn more, and keep an eye out on the Humble site for more details in the weeks ahead.

rom the Vault

In the new Humble app, you’ll also find more than 50 DRM-free indie games, experimental oddities, and other experiences inside the Vault, which you can download while you’re a member and keep playing even after your membership ends. If you’re familiar with the current Humble Trove, the Vault is where you’ll find many of your old Trove favorites after February 1.

Love this part too…

Get ready for worlds of fun

If you’re a current Humble Choice member on any plan, you don’t need to do anything to get the improved Humble Choice. You’ll automatically be switched over to the new, single Choice membership in February when we reveal the month’s game lineup.

This really takes the cake too… Choice members will be able to access the titles in the Humble Games Collection by downloading the new Humble app for Windows PC. (Note that you’ll lose access to these games if you skip a month or cancel your membership.)

Me. I want borderlands 3 and don’t have it yet. I also want calico

Also Everhood is my game of the year for 2021. It was incredible and I’m happy I’ll be able to gift a copy to someone.

Humble Store Collection looks like a giant snore fest atm. Needing to download another launcher app for it is not exactly enticing. I do love their generic ass pitch for it though:

“With the app, it’s easier than ever to keep games up-to-date, get notified about what’s new, and make sure you never miss out on great deals.”

Hi, 2014 called. They want their Marketing 101 book back.

In other news, does anybody want Just Die Already (henceforth called stupid sim v2.0)?

I sighed, then I skipped. Then I turned around and walked away, shaking my head…
