I have never bought from them and ever tipped them. I always move the money to charity. If they keep pressing from an “us” perspective and not about charity, hopefully they lose more subscribers.
but weren’t they acquired by IGN though? lol, don’t think IGN is in the charity business
edit: actually, turns out they never were a charity, it looks like:
(@Fraggles ) yeah, i looked it up though; they never were
I see no time scope mentioned there so they could have written it today, still doesn’t really matter I’m only talking about the appearance they put on at the start, what they built their brand on. Whether they ever were a charity or not is largely irrelevant.
Also. Humble bundle has a store front among other things. That is why they aren’t a non-profit.
By the emperor that’s heresy
Instead of taking such a big 180 turn what shocked/angered a number of people, they really should of just did something like 15% guaranteed for each then you could use the last 55% like you normally can with sliders. I feel this would of been a much better middle ground, since it guaranteed at least some money is always going to them and the publisher, while still people could give up to 70% to charity if they wanted to (what is less then 100% but still most of the money)
this would also stop certain people from giving 0% to charity.
The issue is likely to be about increasing the average amount of money going to publishers, in order to attract more enticing games for the bundles.
Going under, Milky way and Ikenfell are games i might pick up at some point. There are a few games i didn’t know about in the bundle, but none that seems like my type.
My thoughts exactly. The three toy mentioned are also the only ones I’m really interested in. I already have Civ and I honestly don’t know the others or don’t really care for them (not big on worms, not interested in Secret Neighbor).
IMO as a huge Worms fan, that is not a worms game but a cash grab PvP game with paid cosmetics and then they slapped the Worms name on it. The whole play style of the worms franchise isn’t even present in this game, I imagine thats why their sales are so low on this one
Skrrrtt. Wait… Is that a GOG key in that list for Disjunction?
Civ VI would be good to get if I didn’t already own the base game…
Very likely another pause from me.
Well, at least, I have a month to decide…
Again only one game I really want from the bundle. So if anyone gets it and doesn’t want Going Under I am sure I can find a way to trade with you.
I don’t recognise any of these. Only one that looks appealing off the cuff is Desolate. Hm.
I had Paws on my Wishlist, but don’t think I’d get the bundle specifically for that. More hm.
If anyone will end up with spare copy of CIV VI let me know. Maybe we can work out some trade cheers.
I have some leftover games from the previous monthly. First come, first served. Write below which one you want. (the games with the Claimed mark are already claimed)
I’d love to have Levelhead! It looks like a fun game
