Still trying to decide… Will sit on it for most of the month I think… I am in no rush to get any of these other games that I don’t currently have.
I imagine that the season pass will never be much discounted and that the base game may get down to a similar bundled-equivalent price in a couple of years.
It’s overall not a bad bundle, and my primary target if I were to get this bundle is probably Wildfire, and I am somewhat putting WWE 2K Battlegrounds before any of the other random games as well, didn’t know about this game, looks kind of like it might be fun. Somewhat reminds me of a N64-era/style game and that always appeals to me.
It says the the Ultimate Edition is on my wishlist, but in practice is not anymore because not only I checked my wishlist, but the game page says this:
That thread also confirms that ultimate edition is NOT simply standard edition+DLC but different builds of the game. What that means is not clear but buying the season pass does not give you the actual ultimate edition package which evidently has different files in it.
Looks like there’s been a minor update. They fixed the whole misleading Control Ultimate Edition thing on both Humble Choice and Steam’s activation page. The game is now listed as Control Standard Edition and when activated shows up as Control. (On the other hand, it seems that both the Steam Store page and your game library still have it show up under the wrong name; baby steps I guess.)
I wonder how long it took them to make that change.
another skip for me, maybe Colt canyon could be fun as I have a soft spot for roguelikes but I am not sure and it definitely is not worth me buying it just for that.
This did seem interesting, but still not my thing.
looking it up it seems like a clone of RE1 but a rogulike?
And decent is all it is at that.
There are a few games here that fall in the “wouldn’t mind to have, don’t really want to buy though” category for me here, Aven Colony, popup dungeon, rock of Ages, Colt canyon is probably not bad either but there’s really no high point in this bundle that makes me want to grab it.
yeah, wouldn’t mind adding yet another sniper and F1 game to my library but not to the point I’d want the bundle, so now that I finally for the very first time have the luxury to do so, I’m going to pause as well
