So not only did they bend over backwards to ensure you wouldn’t get the complete edition, they even did it so badly that people will be confused about what edition they actually have. Also of course not allowing for any way to upgrade to the Ultimate edition forcing anyone who gets it from humble to buy the whole thing a new should they want it.
I’m not getting this humble monthly JUST because I do not want to reward this behavior from 505. Not that I was particularly interested in it to begin with.

I think you can buy the season pass and that effectively upgrades it, so you can make the upgrade.
But the problem is exactly as you have pointed it out, it’s so misleading that it’s just plain awful…
I need to think on this one myself because Hotshot Racing, XCOM Chimera Squad, Control, and Wildfire were all on my wishlist before I cleaned it up… None of them are on there now, lol…

I wasn’t paying full attention to the controversy when they started this Ultimate Edition thing but it sounded to me like there were things that were going to stay exclusive to the ultimate edition that were not going to be in the standard one. I don’t see any mention about the season pass giving you the full upgrade and at this point of course it’s near impossible to tell what you’re getting where and how.
afaik this game does not contain anything you can’t get in either dlc, and season pass contains both dlc, so i dont see how it could be incomplete in any way?

I was under the impression there were engine upgrades or new graphical stuff and such going on and that’s why they wouldn’t let console players upgrade at all. Though I could be entirely wrong and the “ultimate edition” is just a package with the DLCs baked in and the reason they wont allow upgrades for consoles are entirely about greed and malice.
Either way 505 games not a group I’m in a hurry to give my money to.
not sure honestly but i think that might just be console-related stuff cuz doesnt seem to make much sense to have that for pc
i quickly opened some article about it and it seems to me it’s console-related but might be wrong as i dont rly have time right now to go look more into that

I’m not gonna get this Bundle too. I want Control, but I would like to have the complete edition, and the way 505 handled this is so shitty and confusing that I’m not willing to take part of this. Also, I did not take that coupon offer Humble did on December, so I would not be paying those ~7€.
It’s a shame, because if Control was the Ultimate Edition I would take it as I also wanted Elex, but not this way.
I’ve done the coupon offer thingie, and also wanted Elex - long ago, but meh, Humble is so Standard Edition oriented… I guess for cheap you have to accept/expect that.
