This!
That’s what happened to my last Samsung TV. Not my box; it was the TV. Now my church has a 55 inch $800.00 monitor on their wall. I never use the TV stuff anyway anymore. Samsung’s Tizen OS is crap. It’s basic advertising for other stuff. I tried the Pi for about 3 months. I had 140 MBPS download and it lagged and stopped and flickered all over the place. It worked about 25% of the time. When it did work, it was good but it wasn’t reliable.
The Nvidia Shield does roms too. Love playing games on the big screen. And I can cast Steam etc. I pay 35.00 for over 3000 channels…US, UK and CA.
My pastor had Apple TV and when he came over our house(long time ago before Covid), he was amazed…LOL
Because, as we all know, ads for things you already own are much more effective at getting you to make a purchase.
Is there inflation? Yes. Yes there is.
This is crazy. I just went to buy groceries today and I can tell the numbers are up than what I usually pay. I still read of people advocating for printing more money to solve the world’s problems.
Especially with 4th of July, you bet I bought bacon.
All this inflation is a mess with supply and demand.
- Printing more money dilutes its value causing prices to rise.
- Supply chain disruptions (computer chips, cars, lumber, etc.) lower supply causing prices to rise.
- Companies without those proper materials also can’t find workers to make products. Lowering supply and causing prices to rise.
- People with saved money from stimulus packages/unemployment benefits and others will be so excited lockdowns are done that they will spending money, all at the same time, raising demand and causing prices to rise.
I had my vehicle checked and apparently if I sell it now I can get $5,000 more than when I bought it. I won’t though because I need the thing.
Prices will go down eventually as long as there is normal business competition. But it will take several months after government help programs end and people work normal job hours. Then the Feds need to start selling securities to remove money from circulation.
The only thing good about the pandemic is that companies found out a lot of careers can be done at home online without going to an office building.
Guess I’m disabling the print spooler service then, just in case.
Looks like Coop didn’t disable their print spooler service, the 2nd biggest grocery store chain in Sweden has closed up most shops in the country due to an unspecified “IT attack” rendering their checkout systems inoperable.
Not like they could possibly have been able to fall back on cash payments in the meantime, that’d be too convenient.
So I guess that’s all my personal data and purchase history stolen then.
At this rate, we may need another thread just for news about data breaches!
2020 was the year of the Pandemic or year of Work from Home. 2021 is shaping up to be the year of data breaches.
Here is some kind of crazy/cool news, Also didn’t know Goldfish can get that big.
