on school grounds, that is
And before that they found 215 in BC
And there will be more I am sure. And the States is starting to check for the same thing. It’s so sad.
Not THAT crazy, I think we’ve all known it for some time but now there’s apparently hard data for it.

“Twitter is eroding your intelligence”
Of course WAPO is garbage and something you have to pay for, but you can probably search the headline and find a copy from your preferred bias confirmation outlet.
Not news even, turns out we’ve known this for 3 years and still haven’t done anything about it.
People known for quite some time that smoking is quite bad for you, but that not going away anytime soon, so not surprise twitter won’t either.
Yeah but we don’t have programs in schools urging kids to just say no to twitter. As lame and silly as many of those programs have been, smoking has seen a sharp down turn in since the 90s.
Well maybe we should, they been needing to make some new lame and silly programs so why not make them about social media?
There’s an unfortunate spelling mistake in this article that refers to Michael Jackson as the King of Poo.
Michael Jackson’s horrifying marriage demand devastated wife Lisa Marie Presley (msn.com)
I thought R. Kelly was the king of poo.
Oh, wait, no, he’s the king of pee.
Is it “It just just works” ?

When I pay 3 figures EACH for a machine, I do not expect ads. NTM, The banner is the BIGGEST thing on the screen and it shows ads for things I don’t even have.
I got an Apple TV for signing up with a TV provider almost 4 years ago and would not recommend getting a streaming box if you have the opportunity to stream directly to the tv via mobile/computer as you are dependent on the providers updating their apps. When the box stops getting firmware updates, you are stuck with the old updated apps, while streaming directly from the website seems to just work more consistently.
I have been looking at hooking up an Raspberry to my router to block ads and such, just need to take the time to understand it first.
there is a limit to the ads a Pi Hole can block but there are other programs that supposedly can work at blocking ads by seeing them enough (so like YouTube ads).
I’m running a pi hole myself.
