Crazy News Stories

That CFAA thing seems interestingly complex and stupid. On one hand the cop clearly did something illegal, just not THAT particular illegal thing. Sounds like a badly written law that clearly needs to be rewritten to better focus it’s effect and whoever decided to charge the cop should probably just have done so under some sort of corruption heading rather than data breach of some sort.

In the end I’d go with this being a good thing as a seemingly stupid law has gotten better regulated even if it means that a criminal goes unpunished as a result.

This is news.

“Don’t be a Karen.” Taken too literally. There is also the male equivalent Ken. But in my entire life, I’ve never met a person named Ken.

Don’t really care about the start menu looks or location, I want to know if they’ve decided to backtrack or double down on the spyware.

We’ll see about it on Thursday of the next week. But by the looks of it they’ll keep on collecting data for a long time.
