You sure ask some tough questions there @Gnuffi . Favourite song of all time?
I had to take a day to ponder this and came up with two possible answers. The first is the Final Fantasy VIā€™s ending credits song, but I kind of feel like thatā€™s cheating a little since it contains almost all the main themes from the game. So thatā€™d be like saying the Final Fantasy VI Soundtrack is the best song ever. Conceding that a soundtrack is not a song I feel that I have to pick the best track that is NOT represented in this medley and juggling a few of the options I finally end up picking:

The song varies a little in game depending on how quickly you progress through the phases of the boss battle, thereā€™s also a lot of covers and performances of this song to go to, but this is the version that youā€™ll find on the official OST CDs (Which I proudly own) so thatā€™s the one Iā€™ve chosen to present to you here.

Whatā€™s so good about it then? Well it is a genius composition in itā€™s own right of course, but it also serves as an amazing cap stone to an amazing game. The build up as you get to this point in the game makes itā€™s reveal all the more special. No other game has so fully made me buy into the idea of this one final epic show down with everything on the line as FFVI has and this song elevates that experience 3 more steps above everything else.

Oh right, the giveaway. Cheers for that, once again, the generosity on display here is baffling and while I did manage to grab something from the last one I will would still like to enter for the following, please.
