Thanks, this is actually really helpful since I can queue through the amount of people that beat the game and check the not totally niche ones. Also, no one here named Dreaming Sarah as one of the high quality titles, I think it came in the second batch Dreaming Sarah on Steam
I bought it once for half a dollar, very good shortish pseudovania with an atmosphere similar to Yume Nikki (but less negative)
Edit: Ah, and Tallowmere on Steam - a budget Dead Cells with gratitulous violence
I simply didn’t enjoy it much haha felt quite pointless and silly to me (and yes I do like Deadcells and it wouldn’t have come to my mind to compare these 2 ever). Will try it on PC now tho.
ooooh that means my “ignore” list IS longer than your infinite wishlist
Edit: just checked, I have slightly over 4k titles on ignore hehe (and slighty over 200 on my WL)
I’m at under 200 on my Steam Wishlist list and hope to keep it that way. O_o
Went through 48 pages of game-age last night, and I still missed a few like Leena and Luna, unless there were added afterwards. Picked out a good few I want to read/play/listen last night and still have about 10 more to download, lol.
you gotta pump those numbers up! jk, tho my WL paints a rough picture of what I want, I only check if a game really is worthwhile once it goes on sale for a price I’m willing to pay, so often times I just remove games eventually without buying anything at all haha
just finding out again what I disliked about tallowmere: Katana auto-teleported me into half a dozen stun locking enemies soo uhhh
game auto saved RIGHT BEFORE I found a legendary helmet
tried some more, it’s certainly better on PC than on mobile, does get repetitive quickly af tho
Hey, there’s a fourth batch of games that came today. I can very much recommend Anodyne and Old Man’s Journey from them - Anodyne is a surreal comedy/horror Zelda-like with a very imaginative world, and Old Man’s Journey is a sweet puzzle adventure about, well, being old. Really nice, memorable experiences. Stay away from RYM 9000 though - there are better bullet hells propably in this very bundle, ones that don’t cause headache
sniffs The sweet lambikins… That’s been on WL on Steam for ages. The other titles dimly rings bells too. I was oscillating and a sweet Chronie gifted the bundle to me. This unbelievably a wonderful bundle. What a day for games. What a year for PC gaming!
PS: It sucks that’s a not a good year for so many other reasons, yes. Trying to focus on whatever positives I can as per doctor’s advice.
