That Dead Island trailer is certainly one of the most memorable ones I’ve ever seen. Hauntingly beautiful. Didn’t play the game, but I will never forget that trailer.
oh man, there have been some trailers over the years that have almost completely taken my breath away, and made me super excited (were i not a distrustful gnome i’d have jumped the hypetrain plenty times)

but ofc, Blizzard trailers probably take the cake from anyone else in general tho, for me

Omg can’t believe I never saw it! And I did play the game, even enjoyed it a bit for what it was. That’s a really awesome trailer, running backwards and still I always wanted to see what “happens next”; fantastic!
I remember seeing this one before, reminds me a lot of:

I still haven’t played the game ¯_(ツ)_/¯ but I really like Mad World and it was a pretty big deal in '06.
Funny thing is I still kind of connect Gears of War with Subway because they first opened up a store in my town around the same time and played a ton of Mad World. I am unable to listen to Mad World without thinking of Gears of War and smelling Subway and I’m totally fine with that.
