I’d probably say Alien 3 on the Megadrive.
Sure it wasn’t amazing but I thought it played really well and had a great soundtrack/effects.

i will say Aliens versus Predator (1999) sorta blew my mind back in the day, merging 2 separate films like that and in the manner they did it too, was pretty awesome done, -real cool with the "upside down"head thingy as a xenomorph wall climbing, amazing games at the time
sorta sad AvP 2 likely is “lost” forever not coming to digital platforms… 
(or maybe that doesn’t technically count AvP “theme” itself being a comic book first?)

So is anyone playing the new Jurassic World Evolution made by the Planet Coaster guys? It could be a viable candidate for “favorite game that came from a movie”…I’ve not bought it yet but I’m highly tempted to for multiple reasons. Temporarily satiating my curiosity by watching DansGaming play it.

I had The Lion King and Aladdin on the SNES. Those were hard, and The Lion King didn’t have the “password” feature that Aladdin did, so once it was game over, it was gg.
I played that a lot when I was a kid, and didn’t beat it until I was 17 years old.
Really great game. One of my favorite SNES games ever.
