Continued Bridgerton today.
Summary
Okay, so the dude was just insanely overprotective towards his sister because he wanted her to have the best. He redeemed himself, though it was rather unrealistic a viscount of the Regency era would ever take into account what husband his sister wanted, rather than what the family needed of her (lol y’all, they didn’t give women much choice). A real belief suspender there, but I suppose I am being rather picky. It’s a romance drama based in an alternate history, above all else.
There were far more unnecessary sex scenes. I then realized this is based off a book, and one I probably should have guessed was a “romance” (you know, an erotica) written by a woman. It explained a lot of things once I googled the source of the show and know that undoubtedly there would be more scenes. lol I don’t know, I guess I just would like to see characters getting to know each other more than their lusts being satisfied every 5 minutes.
I enjoy Eloise’s character though, and how much of a distinct impression she leaves against the other women striving just to find themselves a ranking husband. I have no idea if her character is similar in the books, or if she’s even in them, but her voice as a more sensible approach to what is certainly overtly dramatic moments (by her sisters and other women around her) is refreshing, especially since most of the plot was discernable within minutes of episode 1. 
I also enjoy the Viscount a lot too. I first thought he was some pervert, but nah, he a bro, yo. Big bro.
All in all, it just made me want to watch Poldark again. A period drama piece worth watching through and through.
Now to find something else to occupy my down time. On one hand, having time to watch something is great, but on the other hand having an arm injury is not fun. Well, time to scour Netflix again. lol
lol that’s exactly what I was thinking. People don’t like to talk about it, but England had a pretty big incest problem.

Holy crap! Excuse the language, but holy crap! Superman and Lois is incredible! I can’t believe what CW can produce when they have money! HBO Max agreeing to finance their shows, old and new, has made such a huge difference. I honestly thought it was an HBO Max show, not a CW one.
I’m astonished. As a DC fan, I’m so very happy they did this, especially with Superman.
I wholly recommend it!
