I had a similar experience, but in reverse. I once passed on a coin shop game (even though I had more than enough coins to buy it) only to find myself spending “real life coins” on it later on. It was only $1.50 though, so no big deal.
Is Adam’s Venture Chronicles any good? Honestly, I wasn’t going to give either of this week’s coin shop games a second look, but the fact that you spent real money on Adam’s Venture has me intrigued. It looks like it could be somewhat decent but the reviews are all over the place.

honestly i couldn’t say,
i bought it because both of the adam’s venture games seemed interesting to me, and i got Chronicles for like 1€, so i couldn’t resist despite the varying opinions,
-but i haven’t played it yet,
just one more purchase added to the ever-growing list of “if/when will i ever get to play it”

I went for Adam Venture (God the name is so horribly punny I hate it). Time for me to be introduced to this series. From what I’ve heard, the writing and acting is cringeworthy, but the puzzles are fun, so I’ll try it for the gameplay.

Let us know how it goes, I gave a pass to both games myself. KAG because the reviews say it’s only good in multiplayer, and AV for the lukewarm reviews (even the positive ones voiced complaints). But I enjoy Tharsis a lot, and it’s not exactly overwhelmingly positive, so sometimes there are niche markets.

Oh well, I had the unluck of claiming Car Mech Sim 2015 for 10K just before it went to perma sale for 7.5K. Let’s see what will be the next 10K title :).

10,000 is obviously Kingdom Come: Deliverance preload. The 4000 is Shadow of War…value tanked after the loot box furore.
