I got my first shot yesterday. My arm is really really sore and very tired. I am happy but tired and worn out.
Hope the entire world gets it too.

Today I got the 2nd shot … and nothing has changed in my health. These crooks injected me with vitamins?
the 12 hour mark is when I started to feel it.
I already felt it. As if I was run over by a road roller
Update: The arm is still a tad sore but it’s tolerable…
No way would they end up on the table except to play around! Haha…
They are our feathery babies.
By the way, they are a lot more docile than our quail and are not flighty at all. They are afraid of some things but they will happily eat off our hands when given a treat.
Watching them nibble on the chives for those couple minutes made me realize the etymology of the word. Somehow I never associated it with nib in any way.
Thank you, ducks, you teach me well.
The ducks turned 3 weeks today, though our attention were very much on these, video taken about 2 hours after hatching… so far just these two, the other eggs we incubated are not showing any activity, but there’s still time, so fingers crossed!
What happened to the first batch of quails you raised last year, was it? How many birds do you have by now?
This is the third group we are raising. The first two groups lived together for a while but a few ran away and so far one has passed in our keeping. They live only 2-3 years supposedly. The older birds are 3 years old, the younger are 2 years.
They are wild birds and so they really are not great pets. They are too shy around people and never really warm up to people, instead choosing to run away. We tried everything to hang out and to feed by hand, but they just skitter away when we get close. But it’s still fun having them.
As of this morning, we have 4 little babies, there are still a few eggs we are waiting on.
So this means you know how to get your ducks in a row, right? And the actual difficulty of doing so?
LOL! It’s actually not hard at all, when they walk around, they walk in a line usually. When they are running around, they run all over the place.
When I was a performing musician, I loved watching ducks on the dance floor. They really knew how to get DOWN.
heh, these jokes really quack me up.
