Well my old buddy Acer laptop finally died today . I dont sweat it too much because it was really old and i reckon it worked for twice as long as anyone could have expected out of him. I found a cause but i’m not sure i’m up for fixing it. I just might let it finally rest.
I have a Sony Vaio that I used for ten years, the poor thing endured a lot. The battery was the first to give up of course, then the fans, so it started to overheat if used for too long. I put it on rest after I got my desktop, but surprise surprise, the desktop’s mobo died too soon to compete with the Vaio’s lifespan.
My sister just recently was looking for some old photos that we had stored in that one and surprisingly it booted up and was still running. So even after using it for ten years, the old bud is still not giving up. Best part is that it ran with the infamous windows vista who everyone hated.
ahahahahaha i just bought 20€ worth of candy, and i’m gonna be playing video games all night and eat sugary goods until i get dizzy, and there is nothing y’all can do about it because you ain’t my mom
-was being like a 6yo that just got pocket money doing a raid on the candy isles
… inb4 i feel guilty tomorrow for allowing myself a cheat day
heh what didn’t i get
some chocolate marshmallow thingies called Polly
some liquorice hard candy called Dracula
some (dark) chocolate bars with mint chips in, and some mixed gummies and liquorice “tokens”
… aaand some chocolate chip cookies
^everything was on sale, hence why i got swayed to get so much/many different ones
Candy run approved. Never saw Dracula or licorice tokens before. I’m an odd duck who actually likes licorice. Mew! Most people I know look at me funny. Great sadness when I only found a tasty licorice flavoured tea here once. Now, can’t remember the name anymore.
ye i love liquorice myself, which is not that uncommon here compared to many other countries apparently. The “stronger” or saltier the better usually, only the dracula fits that here this time tho, the tokens are fairly mild and sweet/“kid’s liquorice” heheh
