2020 has hit again…No more coins or deals…We are all sad but @kylehayman361 is sadder and he wants to let all know he is going to miss The Chrono Daily Deals…and The Coin Shop
He’s given me ONE thing to do…
I have to do this right now…
So he has entrusted me to make a Giveaway for a Chrono Memorial with some keys he has accumulated…
Must be a forum member for 2 weeks.
Have 8 badges.
Give an account of a game you bought or was introduced thro Chrono. Did you really like one of the Coin Shop games? What was your First buy or your last??? Did it make you smile? @kylehayman361 WANTS to know.
Must say in your post “Kyle’s the Man” or he will “swat” you with his broom…
List your games in order as to how you want.
The giveaway will end on November 18th 2020 around Noon EST.
Winners will be decided by the discobot.
I think that not all of the links are showing likely because of reaching some kind of a limit for displaying the amount of “data” per post. I ran across it before trying to post pictures, it stopped letting me upload more because I was trying to upload these huge photos from my phone.
But at least people can see the game titles and see the links, so it shouldn’t be an issue.
I won’t enter, but I will watch the huge number of people who will show up to do so!
The only game I ever bought from Chrono was Cheap Golf from the coin shop. Yeah, I kind of missed the mark. Sucks. But worse things did happen. On daily deals I found, and wishlisted, some really cool-looking games, but I don’t remember which ones.
Also, Kyle’s the man (but if he wants to hit me with his broom, that’s ok too).
I nothing understood that say in first post but so to be on the safe side: “Kyle’s the Man” and
Undertale
Warhammer 40,000: Deathwatch - Enhanced Edition
PC Building Simulator
Radio Commander
Vampyr
Treasure Hunter Simulator
911 Operator
Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered
Battlefleet Gothic: Armada
I think I really played only 6 games from 28 that I bought on coin shop: Space Pilgrim Episode I: Alpha Centauri, Project Starship, Western 1849 Reloaded, Death’s Hangover, Pixel Gladiator, Caravan. And last game (Yono and the Celestial Elephants) was so cute that I didn’t start to play yet
As a faithful servant of the emperor of mankind I have almost all of the Warhammer 40k games, so I’ll enter for
1. Undertale 2. Into The Breach 3. The Hunter: Call of the Wild 4. PC Building Simulator
Oh man, Kyle’s the man (don’t broom me out pls ), about the last game I bought with coins was Moon hunters, a really good game and a wonderful surprise
My first purchase was Brigadore from the coin shop and it certainly made me smile and then it made me laugh as the keys ran out and people started complaining about not getting one…
and then I didn’t play the game for 4 years.
I did listen to the soundtracks though.
I’d like to enter for
Generation Zero
The Hunter: Call of the Wild
And not just for the joy of depriving someone else of the opportunity, I do rather want to play them both.
Anyways, thanks for the giveaway to @delenn13 and @kylehayman361 !
Lets see, game I bought through Crono that I remember, The Descendant and it was pretty cool actually. No pixel art whatsoever that I crave but sci fi is always nice when done right. “Is Kyle the man”? there technically I said it but in a different order
As for the games, so many cool ones to choose from.
As for games, there have been many good ones and in all directions. Most of my coin shop purchases were given away or traded, but I did keep The Silent Age for myself and really enjoyed it. Best store page purchase was probably Everspace. And best game gifted to me was Tacoma. All this time, it turns out my brain had a Tacoma-shaped receptor sitting empty. Who knew!
I would be quite happy with any of the following, should the fates smile upon me:
Nice to have a laugh at a giveaway. Well Played! Kyle’s the Man
I loved the community page mostly tbh, they kept me coming back to spin that coin.
Dungelot: Shattered Lands, is probably the best coin purchase i did on Chrono, it was a very fun and relaxing game. Cracked a slight smile serveral times here.
Best game i bought here with cash was arguably either This War of Mine + Stories or Exoplanet: First Contact. I say arguably because Exoplanet was in early access when i bought it 2 years ago, and it still is today. Exoplanet made me Laugh because of certain bugs i ran into and were just too funny. This War of Mine sometimes makes u wanna tear up rather than smile.
A majority of the games I’ve gotten from Chrono I honestly haven’t played yet. There are a few I have, those being Divide by Sheep, Hotline Miami, and Redout. Redout I believe was my first $ purchase.
@delenn13 There’s no limit, just some bad code. I had this borked parsing issue every single time I’ve updated the pot in Still Searching.
Try inserting multiple [Enters] directly above/below the links section and/or above the section of links that haven’t been parsed. This should trigger a buffer flush and fix the issue.
BUTCHER is definitely the one that brought me the mostest joy, and that was even before I got the game here. Just reading the description makes me smile so much my cheeks start to hurt:D
If (…) adorning walls with blood is your idea of a good time, BUTCHER is THE game for you.
(…) includes gore. A lot of gore… Body parts laying everywhere, blood dripping from ceiling… There’s also use of strong language. But mostly gore. Very fun gore.
Gratuitous gore, FUN!
I’d like to enter for:
Vampyr
Genesis Alpha One Deluxe Edition
Warhammer 40,000: Deathwatch - Enhanced Edition
Undertale
DISTRAINT 2
And of course, Kyle’s the Man.
Also delenn’s the Man, and Dana as well.
All men, yet all look like ladies:D
