I sold my duplicates… emoticons, backgrounds, and foils… I listed them all at a penny less than the selling prices, so they basically sold instantly…
i managed to gather all 7(8? can’t remember) background and emoticons, i did manage to trade some of my dupes for some i didn’t have
-gotta remember there are “some” that swap dupes 1:1 (vanillabot for instance), but not many
and often if you want emoticon or background trades, unless listed in the bot/persons profile (you can click them on stm before you do the trade), then STM users are just about cards
so that means going to the trading forum for “the rest” since the remaining rare bunch of emote/background swappers/traders pop up there intermittently… (and some with specific trades only/after X item)
haven’t gotten around to selling my remaining dupes yet so still have 1 or 2 of 
left if you don’t have that @Fraggles and wish to to swap/obtain the Googoodness
k pls explain why u wouldn’t just turn those useless things into gems (as I’m doing), especially given that u get 100 gems for each, which is rly good
I don’t know how many emoticons and backgrounds there are… I did get 6 backgrounds and 7 emoticons…

and like i’ve mentioned several times i reeeaaally don’t care about on pinching every penny to whatever cents i might lose out on
here’s “my mafs”:
good crush = 100gems, 1000gems to a sack =10x “good crush”
sale/event items “often”/sometimes net you 6cents payout “np” (sometimes little lower ofc)
given how the sack of gems at it’s avg “best” seems to be around 65’ish market price (currently much much lower) -meaning then you’d get like 55-58 cents’ish
(and currently you are getting even less with the gems being around 50-55cents market price meaning not even 50cents payout)
= less than 10x “regular sold” 6cent payout individual raw sale
same applies to regular cards/items where get 2-4cent payout where you get 10-50gems per crush etc
so that means to either make up for the “penny loss” i’d have to actually pay attention to market fluctuations, (waste of time) or crush to gem then try to bank on crafting boosters with an avg rarity/price that’s more than the 50-60cents… -again/effort, cba lol (especially with low volume trading)
k so that makes 5-6 cts/item here (i can sell 1000 gems at 0.56, which gets me 0.49, so that’s 4.9 cts/piece), do u rly think these emoticons and backgrounds will sell for more than 0.03, thus getting u only 0.01??? I make 4.9 x that by getting gems.

I only make gems when that is the actual right choice, as it seems to be here, hence i’m asking u guys cuz maybe i’m missing something? but it doesn’t seem like that’s the case here
lets just say that even tho the “quick buys” happen at lower (still not 1cent payout lol)
i’ve always set mine for sale at the “avg” price, and eventually they do sell at that… “eventually” 
not like it matters if i get 3-5 cents “naow” or 6 cents in a month or two lol can’t relly do anything with that anyway, so i can’t feel the wait regardless
and like hell if i’m gonna pay attention to gems either, or end up with an uneven unmarketable amount 
it’s all pennies anyway, and i stand by my usual standard viewpoint, barely worth selling mostly anyway (especially when we are down to the 1-3cent payout lel)
Looks like I am missing background #7 then… well, I don’t have any more spares to trade, and I don’t really want to throw real money into the mix to buy it, I guess I will have to try my luck next few days to see if I get a drop.

Cheers, tried to set it up myself but turns out you can’t send trade suggestions to someone who’s offline.
you should be able to
go to profile, then “more”, -“offer trade”, that’s how i’ve done dozens of manual trades with offline alt"friend" (i’m doing that from the client tho, not the app)
anyways, all good now
I tried through the friends list, where it was greyed out. Was looking at the profile to find a trade button somewhere to no avail.
I also have 7 wallpapers, not all 7 though of course.
So if anyone have 2 or 3 and want 4 or 5, hit me up.

that only lists the emoticons and backgrouds right? their bot only does cards no?
@YQMaoski (anyways, can still look them up there ofc, and you can also, during each event, just copy paste the name in the steam market and it will list all those , like “intergalatic steam summer emoticon” or “intergalactic steam summer background”
Actually, the card exchange shows the backgrounds and emoticons at the bottom…

yea i meant more in the sense that site was “only good” for a database of the emotes/backgrounds -“displaying” the available, and not for actually “swapping”/trading (as i understood it, tho haven’t checked their system or credits out in depth either, when i was looking for 1:1 swaps)
definitely useful to look up stuff tho
there was another site too pretty handy for looking up emotes in general too when i was just browsing for silly X"term"/related stuff
