Thank you Chrono Inc., supportive publishers/developers, and the Chrono.gg Coin Shop for the following:
I don’t know about y’all but im still spinning the coin
Technically coins will continue to exist ever since the genius from the community redesigned the Like icon for these forums (previously a heart I think?), and a staff member liked it so much he implemented it. I can’t remember if it was frst, dusty, or lonin who implemented it (guessing frst), and whether or not the icon needed editing before implementation though (guessing yes).
Yep, thanks to Chrono for all the amazing games they gave us for free! (And the amazing daily deals they still have going on.)
These are the ones I got over the years:
Earthfall
Boiling Bolt
Frost
Shift Quantum
Underhero
Strikers Edge
HERO DEFENSE
The Office Quest
Iconoclasts
(Yeah, I was fast enough to get a Iconoclasts key )
My personal favorite was Circa Infinity, which I would not have even heard of if not for the coin shop.
Honorable mentions:
Tengami
One Finger Death Punch
The Office Quest
Some honorable mentions that I already had
Mini Metro
Whispering Willows
Lethal League
Dropsy
Dustforce
…Dead Cells…
I don’t think this was a coin shop game, I remember buying it for $1.49 on Chrono. Unless it was a coin shop game that was later sold on the front page?
Yep, it was in coin shop back in April 2018.
Butcher
Earthfall
Battlevoid: Harbringer
Furious Angels
Grim Dawn / 5$
Redout: EE
This last two games… Its sad but didnt had a chance to take them both. Iconoclast and xmorph. Plus some others that look cool.
Really dont know why they close the shop but… it was nice but unfair too sometimes when good games on shop dissappear that fast. Dead cells was one of those that fly super fast. Now I have 63k coins XD
Thanks for everything Chrono!
My list
-The Silent Age
Pretty awesome even though it was a mobile game originally. More than likely. Not that there’s anything wrong with mobile games.
-Pocket Kingdom
-Diaries of a Spaceport Janitor
-Battlevoid: Harbinger
-Lovely Planet
-Splasher
Really glad I picked this one up. It is a surprisingly really good game especially for having never heard of it. Obscure gem I would say. At least to me.
-Underhero
One of the more expensive games, but sooooooo worth it.
-Knightin’+
Wished there were resolution options in game, otherwise a decent game. I don’t think were options for resolutions. I could be wrong. My computers garbage. Don’t judge.
-Redout: Enhanced Edition
I was very surprised this wasn’t sold out by the time I saw it. I had to snag this.
-Iconoclasts
Easily the one I’m most excited to play. Can’t believe I finally have this. Thanks Chrono!
-Moon Hunters
Looks pretty sweet. Pretty excited to play this one.
-Robin Hood: The Legend of Sherwood
Looked like a game I would like to try and this was purchased on the last day. I was unsure of picking this one up before. Waited for better games to show up first.
-Rex: Another Island
-Death Fungeon
Made me think of Super Meatboy a bit, so why not.
-The Hex
I know literally nothing about this game except it was by the creators of Pony Island which I played for probably about 5 seconds and passed on it, maybe I’ll try it again. But I saw that this game had some creativity put into it, according to the screenshots and said why not. This was also the last game I got.
I was sadly too late for Seven: The Days Long Gone so, that royally sucked. But hey it happens and I had no idea the coin shop and the crazy giveaways was going to happen. At least on the first day.
I remember when I was quite new to Chrono there was trouble with me being late for getting War for the Overworld and Chrono was extremely nice about getting me a code, but in the end I gave the game away because it really was my own fault for missing it and I thought a quick giveaway to whoever was first could get it was a nice idea. Chrono was so nice about it though! Thanks again Chrono! Unfortunately, whoever ended up snagging the game didn’t thank me. I wasn’t expecting anything in return, but a thank you would have been nice. Oh well. No harm done. Could have been a bot. (Shrugs)
I was going to get Office Quest since I had spare coins, and still do… but I was getting an error when trying to purchase it and the game was at 99% so, I’m sure it was sold out and probably never updated until later on.
I remember Dead Cells was on here and I was like… Oh my god!!! It was really expensive and I’m pretty sure it was sold out. Would love to play that game. It looks sooooooo good!
So yeah that’s my list of coin shop games. It’s been real fun. Hopefully something even more awesome can take place of this. If not, well there is the community at the very least, which by the way, you all are really great. Thanks for including me in the community. You all are so generous.
Very slightly random note (I don’t how to do the classic shrug face even with a copy and paste, doesn’t come out right for some reason on here, so, if someone on here knows how to make it show up right let me know. I CLEARLY have nothing better to do with my life than ask others on the internet how to put a shrug face on the internet. I personally prefer the classic shrug one to the built in one on here. That’s just me. That’s all I have to say about that.
This seems to be the only thing for shrugs.
I guess alternatively you can do this:
¯_(ツ)_/¯
I don’t think there’s other built-in ones that you can use.
I have all the coin shop games.
if you want both “arms” you have to put a space between the slash and underscore on the left and the parentheses and underscore on the right due to how discourse formats it in “italic” with _ underscores _ (ex underscore = _underscore_
, can’t remember what the slashes format to)
¯\ _(ツ) _/¯
Wait until the boss hears you’ve been skimming off the top and sampling the product!
skimming, sampling?
not only does he have all games, he has 19,000 to 44,000 (ballpark) copies of each game!
who do you think is dumping all that shit on G2A?
Well … I intended to do this post on the other thread (but, I just realized now that it was closed )
Thank you very much Chrono for keeping the Coin Shop open for all this time!
I’ve been here practically since the beginning of the Coin Shop (I still remember seeing Brigador available) and undoubtedly one of the things that most marked me in the store were the “unknown” titles, instead of super famous games that I could find highlighted on steam, i loved the possibility of finding some games that maybe i would never have given any chance if i hadn’t met them here, and that ended up developing my curious side about the world of games a lot and that was what introduced me mainly to the world of the Indies.
Another thing that I loved about the Coin Shop was the stories and comedic moments that ended up appearing, such as: When There’s Poop in my soup, it appeared in the store and stayed for months (so much so that when the last keys were being redeemed it was created a thread about it), and when the game finally ran out, right after that you added some Poop in my soup 2 keys … I also remember when “I am bread” was added to Coin Shop and at the time I really wanted the game, and I kept collecting my coins for days, and when I finally gave the last necessary spin, the keys sold out (At the time I was a little upset, but, I don’t deny that stopping to think today is a very fun memory ) … And how to forget the old system of chests, which before we had to visit the site every day and redeem the coins without fail, if not, the day count would return to zero (I was sad when the system changed )
There were also many times when I saw incredible Chronies rescuing keys in the Coin Shop and donating them to people who didn’t have the necessary amount … In other words, the Coin Shop was incredible, not only for the giveaways, but for all the moments sensational that it has provided over the years.
So … What I have left to say again, is Thank you very much Chrono , I will definitely miss the Coin Shop, but knowing that the site still has a lot to grow and many stories to tell, it is priceless
Oh yeah, the “unsellable” Poop In My Soup was a fun meme. I remember watching it rather closely by the end of it, to try and grab the last key (for bragging rights or whatever), and then suddenly it was all gone
Space Beast Terror Fright
Safety First!
Garfield Kart
Impulsion
Lovely Planet
Golf It!

Thanks Coin Shop!
