PlayStation Plus Monthly Games (Now with January 2021)

July is inbound, new PS+ games revealed!

July 2020 Free Games:
First up is NBA2K20, I mean I don’t really need to say much else right? Developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K

Game:

Next up is Rise of the Tomb Raider 20 year Celebration. I haven’t played this, but its got high ratings and I do remember around its launch seeing a bunch of my friends playing it. Anyway this is an action-adventure game developed by Crystal Dynamics. I can’t wait to hop into this one.

Game:

BONUS
As a bonus for PS+ 10 year anniversary there will be an additional game next month!
Erica is an interactive thriller, its basically a movie that you control. I never played this one either but its looks interesting. Developed by Flavourworks and published by Sony.

Game:

These games will be available as of July 7th and unavailable after August 3rd. As always I do recommend you pick them up, even if you don’t plan on playing them right now. You never know when you might be bored one day and want something new to play.

Although its hard to believe, August is around the corner, new PS+ games have been revealed!

August 2020 Free Games:
First up is Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remaster. I probably don’t need to go into detail of what this game brings to the table. First person shooter, developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activison.

Game:

Next up is Fall Guys: Ultimate knockout, this game isn’t out yet, however from watching the trailer it looks like an entertaining game. Its an interesting take on Battle royale, or at least as far as I can tell it is. This game is developed by Mediatonic, and published by Devolver Digital (A name I haven’t heard for a long time).

Game:
Since there is no store page, i can only send this, I’ll update with the actual store page upon release.

These games will be available as of August 4th and unavailable after August 31st. As always i do recommend you pick them up, even if you don’t intend to play them. You never know when you might get bored, and seek something new to play.

Update: Modern Warfare 2 is actually available right now!

Oh! :astonished:

Oh… :unamused:

Yea, at least it looks fun though and isn’t like the usual battle royale games where you just kill everything you see. The only battle royale aspect I see in that game is last player standing wins.

Fair enough.

I’m a bit late on this post, I haven’t hard internet since the 20th. Lets get to it. So september is a mere few days away, and the PS+ games have been revealed.

September 2020 Free Games:
First up we have Street Fighter V. I don’t really care for these types of games. But I have played it and did enjoy my time, I got a little story about that. So my college has PS4’s set up and SF5 installed on them, me and a friend were playing it, my strategy is spam buttons and hope it works, same with him. This other guy came up asking if he could play and he said, “I’m not very good at this game.” He sits down unzips his backpack and polls out this controller thing with the classic stick and a bunch of red buttons I don’t know what there called, anyway. I knew that moment I was screwed. It was still a lot of fun though and definitely a highlight from that year.

Game:

Next up is Player Unknowns Battlegrounds (PUBG) This was what some consider the OG (AS the kids say) battleroyale game (Minecraft Hunger Games anyone?). I actually had that game on disk so I got rid of it when I saw PUBG was up.

Game:

These games will be available as of September 1st and unavailable after October 5th. As always i do recommend you pick them up, even if you don’t intend to play them. You never know when you might get bored, and seek something new to play.

October 2020 Free Games:
First up we have Need For Speed Payback. Its a racing game developed by ghost games and published by EA. I’ve never cared for these games, but I do like racing games, so I hope when I try this game that I’ll enjoy it. Maybe someone else here who has played the newer NFS games can expand more on it.

Game:

Next up is Vampyr. This is an action role-playing game developed by Dontnod Entertainment and published by Focus Home Interactive. This certainly looks like an interesting game that I’ll definitely try out.

Game:

These games will be available as of October 6th. As always i do recommend you pick them up, even if you don’t intend to play them. You never know when you might get bored, and seek something new to play.

Hello everyone! November is only a couple of days away, new PS+ titles have been revealed. November is going to have a lot of games with the launch of the PlayStation 5. I’m going to keep this one simple. (There are a LOT of games).

Without further ado… Here are the November 2020 PS+ games:

PS4:
Middle-earth Shadow of War and Hollow Knight Voidheart Edition

PS5:
Bugsnax

PS+ Collection
Batman Arkham Knight, Battlefield 1, Bloodborne,
Call of Duty Black Ops III, Crash bandicoot N’ Sane Trilogy,
Days Gone, Detroit Become Human, Fallout 4,
Final Fantasy XV, God Of War, Infamous Second Son,
Monster Hunter World, Mortal Kombat X, Persona 5,
Ratchet and Clank, Resident Evil 7 Biohazard, The Last Guardian,
The Last Of Us Remastered, Uncharted 4 A Thief’s End, and finally Until Dawn

As of right now, it is unknown whether or not the PS+ collection games will be only on PS5 or if it’ll be on PS4 as well. Anyway, it looks like next month we’ll be getting a lot of games to play on PS5, a lot of great ones too.
Battlefield 1, Detroit Become Human, God of War, The Last of Us, Uncharted 4, and Until dawn are games I’ve played and loved them. I highly recommend them. I have heard good things about the others, but I personally never played them or don’t care for it like Fallout 4, I forced myself to play through that game.

Ending Note:
I am not certain of when all the games will be available. The PS4 games will likely be available Nov 2nd. As for the PS5 games, they’ll either be available upon launch of PS5 or they’ll be available Nov 2nd. As always i do recommend you pick them up, even if you don’t intend to play them. You never know when you might get bored, and seek something new to play.

Update:
The PS+ Collection will be available on Nov 12th for US, Canada, Japan, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, and South korea. The rest of the world will be Nov 19th.
