Yes! 
Avalanche blow up the Mako reactor, Shinra blows up Sector 7, Avalanche run from Midgar, follow the fake Sephiroth (which is really Jenova cells) around the world, to the city of the Ancients, then the Northern Crater where the real Sephiroth is “sleeping”, then Meteor gets summoned and Cloud and co. save the day.
(Admittedly both Fraggles and Gnuffi had better puzzles than my ones, but I wanted to get more people involved…)

When you’re following Sephiroth initially it’s not really him…he’s in the Northern Crater the whole time encased in some weird crystal bubble. The Sephiroth you’re actually chasing is a Jenova “echo”.

Ok, so:
This time, our hero is a cold-blooded killer who kills on command. On one of his missions, he rescues a princess and then falls in love with her. Sadly, a dirty rat kills the princess and leaves our hero for dead. Our hero then proceeds with going after the rat and discovers who was behind everything, so he goes on one final mission to end all.
