don’t need one m8 but is appreciated
Focusing the eyes for prolonged periods on a fixed object, especially one that is held close to the eyes. The eyes are designed to shift focus between near and distant objects and extended focusing on a single object can cause eye strain. Eyes are strained more by close viewing than by distant viewing. So if you put accommodation and long term viewing into play, this can increase convergence in the eyes giving you a temporary form of heterophoria. All of this can be weighed together on which dominant eye you have, age, and mood during that time.
y but that’s exactly why it’s better to play with a greater FOV
