Update: I purchased the game (set) and it activated to show up with BioShock, Bioshock Remastered, BioShock 2, Bioshock 2 Remastered, and BioShock Infinite as five different lines in my library… I was not expecting this at all.
Anyone want to give me any ideas of which of the games to play? Original versions or remastered? I thought this would be easy, but now I am scratching at my head… And what order should I play these games? 1, 2, then infinite?
In addition, I just purchased the Baldur’s Gate: The Complete Saga ($10.79) from Fanatical. I just couldn’t pass up this one, I have played both games in the past, I have been thinking too much nostalgically of my older games because of our discussions on here…
order is definitely 1, 2, (+Minervas den, -tho “optional”), and then infinite (and then infinite’s dlc Burial at Sea 1-2, not optional, -don’t skip it)
orginals vs remasters, that will depend entirely on your system
(i haven’t played the remasters in a while): at launch a bunch of people had a ton of graphical issues with the remasters, that was enough to sorta ruin the “remaster experience” for them, others/myself had no such issue
if you can run the remasters without glitches, just do the remasters instead,
i enjoyed/loved the originals, but had been so long time playing them when people did the “original vs remaster” comparison i couldn’t “see” the difference as i couldn’t remember it that vividly…
difference is this time, you don’t get the game just by clicking on it, I have tried about 10 times now, no luck, seems like you get a low-chance RNG roll, and it allows you only to do it every 10 minutes, I tried last night and this morning so far, no luck… I am really just doing it for the RNG to see how many times it takes me to get it…
