They do if you just link the app/ID part of the URL.

No you just need to prune the URL of all unecessary stuff.

Ah I guess it’s not much of an issue for you then.
I only use my facebook for family and a few friends, but I’ve always had an issue with sites requiring you to connect it… it just feels a bit shady.

for “random” free game “huntings”, it’s always pretty good to have a couple of “spam” absorb accounts, a throwaway gmail connected to a facebook or twitter to gather free games from those “clickity this”-sites
that is if one would want those games
for more straight up sites/free games i often use my primary, since mostly they don’t ask you for such things

weird i tried the pruning earlier and never worked until i added the snr part manually

edit, yours seem to redirect to an snr link too anyway

edit, nvm, seems to work now, it just automatically adds the snr after the app/id

Yeah I can see that. I’m not that desperate for games that are usually trash though, I only grab them if they’re basically handed to me like the usual indiegala stuff.

yup, and it’s why i don’t “hunt” like that anymore, too much of a hassle to keep track of the spam absorb account +passwords, and which fb/mail/twitt was connected/linked to where :smile_cat:

The snr part is stuff that the board widget thing creates itself. If you just do the plain URL the way I suggested the forum software does the rest when you post it.

yea i know it should do that
but for a while it didn’t (for me), at least i tried every format i could think of (including “pruning” to only contain app/id) and all of them went up with the “error” thingy until manually adding the snr part, even went to discourse forum to check which ones they used, and those didn’t work at the time either on chrono, just got the error thingy on each link i posted, until i noticed and added the snr part
