An enhanced/remastered version of the classic adventures:
King’s Quest II, and
King’s Quest III are available for free on the site of the developers of Mage’s Initiation Reign of the Elements, which is an homage to those vintage games.
This version of the King’s Quest series is not the same than the one on STEAM, which is a remake with cartoonish graphics (not on par with the original pixel art, from my point if view.) Also on the same site, a free enhanced/remastered version of Quest for Glory II.

I’ve stumbled on this amazing fan project done by one person. Thankfully SEGA, unlike Nintendo, doesn’t sue people to the ground.
