I know that some will turn their noses up at these games but others love them. To me… they are a good time waster and they keep the cobwebs out of the noggin.
These games are about the only thing I can play as I have to keep an eye on The Man In a Sling. Just this morning he decided to go in the freezer and get out a muffin for his breakfast. 2 minutes later, I am cleaning up rice on the floor in 2 different rooms. I have tried to tell him repeatedly that it’s BETTER to ask me to do it than for him to try and then…make a BIGGER mess.
Yesterday I took a half day just for me. Went shopping with a friend, had coffee and just relaxed for a bit. I needed a “Me Day”. Just to get away.
So I am back and I got some game keys to give away.
First off…Requirements/Rules:
Need 8 Badges
Be a FORUM Member for 2 weeks
Can only ask for 8 games
List the games in order as to how BAD you want them.
Tell us what Happens when you have a “Me Day” or some “Me Time”. Are you alone or with friends? Do you go out or hide in the house? Do you listen to music or read a book?
Once you have completed the requirements, you can win these games:
Never Alone Arctic Collection (w/ Foxtales DLC and FREE Soundtrack):
From Artifex Mundi:
Some of these games were given to me to give away to good homes. This giveaway will end on March 9, 2019 12PM EST. That’s the time the Daily Deal changes. I will be using Discobot to decide your fate. Be nice to him.
You will have 24 hours to reply to my PM. If not, I will reroll. Please make sure you are around that time. It usually takes me an hour or so to notify all. I reserve the right to be late…because of The Man In a Sling.
I’m a mostly introverted person I love alone time. But i do enjoy hanging out with close friends. When alone I’ll usually just hop on a singleplayer game, or even a multiplayer game but go solo. Or i’ll throw some music on, maybe watch a movie or TV show.
Thanks for the giveaway. I would like to enter for
Nightmares from the Deep: The Cursed Heart
I am not really sure I have a me day or alone time, because that is mostly how I am. I am not trying to get away from anyone or anything, I just do what I do. There is something about playing solo games and watching movies without anyone’s interference. I do like playing games my own way and watching movies without comments or discussions. It also avoids spoilers for both.
Firstly, thanks for a great giveaway (Casuals are the best sometimes because they often tend to be quick/have quick mini games or rounds and it is the perfect procrastination xD)
This sounds so fancy and I love it.
I would love to enter for:
Never Alone
Nightmares from the Deep: The Cursed Heart
7 Wonders: Ancient Alien Makeover
Dreamscapes: The Sandman
I don’t get a lot of me time anymore so I generally try to combine stuff with other people. So I will hang out with friends or family and we will either do our own thing (play our own games, or I’ll read and they watch something) or we game/watch something together
Thanks for taking time out in between all that rice cleaning! And I’m here if you ever want to complain about how many grains are spilt or just talk
Never Alone is a wonderful game, especially if you have interest in different cultures and history. There’s so much wonderful cultural knowledge and videos packed in there, I recommend it to everyone.
It’s what you do to spoil yourself …like eating a tub of ice cream…etc. Just selfish time to yourself…but it doesn’t have to be alone time…You can do it with friends or family too.
As for me time… Well… Any time I’m at home is basically me time. Shopping could be considered me time as well. Though if I have a day I just really don’t want to even remotely interact with anyone I’ll sleep or play some games on my 3DS/switch. Sometimes I’ll also boot up one of the truck simulators, get some music going, and just chill.
I am not entering, but I want to tell the person who ends up winning Never Alone to really enjoy the documentary aspect of the game, it’s quite fantastic and I loved the educational piece to go with it.
As for Me Time, it’s usually just going with the flow. Earlier today, it was a trip out to Buffalo, to the Botanical Gardens. (Just got home not long ago.)
I’m fortunate in that I get a lot of “me time”, just sitting alone and working on hobby projects, or maybe playing some games. Although I like having some music on while I work or play, I usually forget to put any on >A>
Hello there I’d like to enter with
Never Alone
and that’s it. X)
Me time…
It depends on my needs. If I need to go out i’d try to call a friend or try to think of something fun I could do outside. Usualy I go out and run to the next store just to see what they have and go back without buying anything.
If I don’t have to go out I play games, read Manga, watch movies, think of some nice body paintings or how to improve my painting style or watch TV. But 90% of the time I play games on my Pc, sometimes on my PS3. (LoL, Sims4 and Tales of Games or Harvest Moon)
@YQMaoski I second his statement about the documentary aspect of Kisima Inŋitchuŋa. ACTUALLY, it was my favorite part of the game. I think I may even have cried. Fantastic concept fro a game, I wish more documentary-games existed – anyone know of something else along those lines? Hit me up if you do, I’m a documentary addict.
@chronicleops I adore Crywolf ever since his first album. I don’t recall how I stumbled upon him but I remember being immediately hooked. It’s been YEARS now and I still listen to him frequently. Great share! He has a very unique style.
I’m not entering but…
For “me time” I usually roast innocent souls make myself a Cuba Libre – my favorite drink – put on a great documentary (latest one I watched was The Most Unknown), TV show (currently finishing True Detective S03) or movie (saw At Eternity’s Gate the other day with my mum), and enjoy slightly light-headed.
Fort McMoney is a 2013 web documentary and strategy video game about Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada and Athabasca oil sands development, directed by David Dufresne [fr]. The documentary uses interactive game elements to allow users to decide the city’s future and attempt to responsibly develop the world’s largest oil sands reserves.
Awesome giveaway! Not entering as I own the HOGs and not a match-3 fan. Never Alone is a great game, sigh I’ve killed that poor fox so many times, T_T.
Anyway, me time is definitely hiding out in the house, usually reading a hard copy book and if possible, drinking a cup of hot chocolate. I’ve got many ebooks now, but nothing beats curling up with a book in hand. Never had a Kindle, so don’t know if that’s just as good.
Me time… sometimes I get none when I need it and somtimes I get too much and I get lonely
I usualy retreat into my room to play video games/ listen to and sing songs / watch tv series.
I’m a nerd, what did you expect
sometimes these games are the best games…
as for my me time or me day, atm only time thats not me time is when im at the job (and its so slow there that its almost also me time even at work for most of the day). otherwise its all me time, and while it can sound great it can also get lonely at the top…
i play games, excercise, listen to music and NEVER read books. ever.

Hi Delenn! I know everyone has their own tastes for gaming genres so I’ll choose the platformer.
Never Alone
On a Me Day, I am all alone and the place is quiet. I take a long long shower with some music to listen/sing to. I ponder my goals in life, consider my current place in the goals, and think of how I want to achieve them. Then sit and rest at my computer. Ahhhhhhh. Sounds so nice thinking about it. I don’t want to do things and I definitely feel more satisfied thinking and resting.
