Buying assets doesn’t necessarily make a game bad, but all the things they did combined make it look pretty scamming and fake. One of the worst reviewed games I have ever seen and only 1 day after launch lol.
yeah, but it proves that there indeed was no game to begin with. It was supposed to release two years ago, but supposedly they needed that much time to develop it. And then when it releases in early access two years late, with barely any content at all, it turns out even the map is literally an asset-flip.
So they made an insane trailer many years ago that led everyone to doubt if that was even possible, so doubting there was a real game there, and then they lied to everyone for years saying it was real, and then they just scrambled to make something out of nothing by simply buying a $300 asset and put a few zombies on it…
granted, there’s some animations and physics and models (if those aren’t assets to begin with as well) etc
this game is 100% a scam though, and I never said it was a scam to begin with, lol. I’ve always given them the benefit of the doubt. But now it is clear as day.
