okay, now your age is showing
I was about to comment this, heh.
I bet he still uses MySpace and ICQ.
Reminds me I still haven’t watched those movies
It’s “Must see”. And the Tv show was pretty decent too.
Well this sounds fun, expect things to stay out of stock for the near future and prices to rise.
This is why you don’t pre-order, kids.
Also, this is one of those games where you can’t even play single player without an Internet connection.
Yes, i got burned on that with Diablo 3. You wanna play the game by yourself, but then the servers gets latency or whatever and you get disconnected, lose progress and now you can’t play your game.
I see, and that’s why I avoid “online only” games like this since once the servers go down for good the game becomes unplayable and useless.
I miss the days where people had more respect for single player games.
Problem there is that it can be difficult to tell what games are online-only. When I got Blast Zone Tournament, I didn’t see anything in the description or reviews mentioning that it needed a server connection, but when I tried to play it and encountered what seemed to be an infinite loading screen, doing whatever I could on my end to fix it (like uninstalling and reinstalling), I thought, “wait, is this an online-only game?” Sure enough, after an email to the devs, it turned out the problem was with their servers.
There’s also no mention that Outriders requires online connectivity to play the game in the system requirements of the steam page. So people are quite right to be both surprised and dismayed when the game they want to play in single player fails to live up to those expectations.
And the response to people reviewing the game negatively for this and bringing their desires to play the game in single player to the forums are met by some real toxic people, though I largely refrain from using the word I find it applicable here. There’s some real nasty corporate -sucking going on here.
that is so weird, i could have sworn i previously read “requires broadband connection” in the system specs, but it’s gone now wonder if i mixed it up with another
Which’s why it’s essencial to read everything carefully in the game page, including the reviews.
If you blindly buy the game (or worse, pre-ordering it) you may end up with a nasty surprise.
and so it keeps on beginning
critically intensifying
I don’t know which story is crazier lol.
alright that’s it
Society of Extraordinary Gentlemen please take these nutjobs out before someone comes up with a great way to improve Armageddon 2.0 …
