The weather is going haywire again. I’ve been keeping up to date with this youtuber who explains things like I’m an intelligent person who can understand things I’ve never thought of before. I feel so much more knowledgeable compared to watching my local/national weather news station.
Wow. I would not be scared to live in a big house married to that dude. Amazing.
I don’t have fear of heights. But I got a little nervous just looking at it. So I could never do this.
I thought i saw somewhere that the actual fall is what is fear inducing. Something to do with the feeling of falling. Not sure how legit that information is as the source I remember is not credible.
sometimes stuff goes wrong. Higher up, more chances for bad things to happen. Even low altitude things can go south really quick. Got to stay calm and make decisions on the fly.
Can personally confirm Pylinaer’s idea. The loves high places but don’t like that free falling feeling at all. The bottom of my feet tingle when playing Mirror’s Edge and some platformers. Still, in MMO’S I’m forever climbing mountains and waterfalls explicitly to jump off of them, lol.
So I don’t dive or even swim well, but these guys helped clarify a lot of horror stories you hear about cave diving. Learned so much from Gus and Woody (not in this vid), that I couldn’t take Sanctum, the film, seriously
If you’re curious Gus roasts all the non cave diving things done in the movie. If you never watched Sanctum, this is spoilers, but in any case, the storyline is fairly weak. Great cinematography but no fishies.
Pretty underwater scenes and a few lessons to cave diving safely. Ends with fishies! There also a pale cave crayfish.
