Those are weavers… I have never heard them referred to as fire ants… two very distinct families there. Common names are unnecessarily convoluted.

fire ants being around 3feet in size, and using fire!

And even those aren’t fire ants… they are another evolutionarily unrelated species (probably a Formica species based on the appearance of the petiole) that evolved with nuclear fallout…
