Witcher 3 just got updated on steam, -and they removed a song from the soundtrack
(happens in games frequently) This is one of the very few games where i actually noticed this type of update, why? - because witcher 3 soundtrack was/is awesome, and turns out the song they lost the rights too apparently(skips from track 14 to 16 now on bonus sound track), was Widow-Maker, a damn good “riding fast” + fighting song
It’s still on the soundtrack downloadable from GOG. And I suppose if you want a local version of the file I could sort you out. Who listens to music through steam anyway?
well that’s good then i suppose -albeit a tad strange since usually “license revokes” affect all “platforms”/stores
it’s not so much about listening to it through steam, as it is steam users simply wont have access to their “full” soundtrack anymore when re-downloaded/installed next
-AND existing owners even got the song removed from their steam folder -if they didn’t have it backed up elsewhere
one of the drawbacks of steam updates
(thank feck i remember to backup stuff sometimes)
We can seek revenge on the removal by listening to the piece whilst riding majestically on our individual Roaches towards the sunset with swords in hand to slay the meek humans who have wronged us.
