You’ve already annoyed me enough times in this particular topic.
Have you consider aggravating other people in the discussion too? An infuriating discussion involves many uncalled-for suggestions and screen-wide pop-ups.
If you’d like to continue your prodding with this particular user at length, Go To Hell.
i’m such an attention whore discourse’s system is trying to come up with ways to give me a timeout
if it’s not me getting the message “you’re dominating the conversation with X/% replies, try letting others join in the topic”(or something) - it’s people getting a “you talk too much to gnuffi”-message apparently
and yea, thought i’d try spiff up my chrono-appearance, -and see where it takes me
I use the Quake Live logo since it holds a dear place in my cold, dead heart. I also use it to fool myself into thinking Quake Champions never happened.
Close, but not quite. I respect Quake 1 engine wise, but the theme and level design is pretty weak imo. I don’t think I’ll ever settle on an answer to that, honestly, but as far as Quake goes the best hands-down is Quake II or Enemy Territory: Quake Wars. Basically there’s a laundry list of games I interchangeably call the best ever made, and Quake II definitely has a high mark on that list.
it’s funny, cos people talk about Halo alot and how it “pioneered” online mp shooters
-and yet somehow i still remember times with doom deathmatches, quake, unreal tournament, and o.g. CounterStrike as being a little bit better and more fun back in the days of a misspend youth
-fuck, i’m gonna be one of those old geezers that sits on a patio-chair shakes a fist yelling and be all like, “get off my lawn you darn kids!”, aren’t i…
That’s mainly because Halo brought FPS multiplayer to the consoles, an awful lot of people played Xbox exclusively so a lasting impression on a larger number of people was made by Halo than the PC exclusive titles that came before and had always been better.
I’m not going to claim that Halo is bad, but it’s a game made for an inferior control methods and the only way that it would be possible and feel good to play was to make the game do half the work for you. That Halo became in any way competitive is such a bad joke.
