If you have an account with fanatical.com, you “might” get an email titled “Your Secret Santa gift is inside! Claim yours now”. Check to see if you got that offer. I did, and got a nice game for free (the link in my email was usable only by me, so I can’t share it).
I didn’t know what game they tried to send me until I registered the key at Steam. I assume you did the same, and then saw you already owned whatever they sent you?
Thanks for giving that key to someone that wanted it, so nice of you (as usual).
Once you click to reveal the key, the name of the game shows up on the left side on the Fanatical page, you don’t need to try to activate it on Steam to find out if you already have it.
Do you have an account (userid/password/login)? Have you ever bought anything from them? Yes @Danacscott also points out they may take time to get to everyone. Also, it might be a random/luck group of emails based on giveaway stock? I wish you luck getting an email.
meh, some rando game isn’t really worth the 3x daily fanatical spam email for me, i got Itad notifications for when they got good deals pertaining to me
