I keep seeing these new Yakuza games, and I can’t believe 3-6 got rolled out in a matter of months. I am pretty happy that they did this and linked up the whole series for PC, but man, when am I going to have time to play them? So far I have only played through the story in 0, with more side-stuff that I want to spend more time in… #FirstWorldProblems…
well i dont have any of yakuza games
i think i never play this games in the rest of my life
That’s kind of thinking a bit too far ahead, no? I imagine unless the game becomes so defunct in respect to OS updates that it’s unplayable, you will have plenty of time/opportunities to grab a copy of one of these games on sale or in a bundle and play it. After all, three of them have already been bundled already.
i dont buy on bundles because the economy on my country is bad
Argentina has regional pricing on Steam, right? I think Yakuza 0 has been 75% discounted directly from Steam before.
I just checked the regional pricing history, it was discounted down to 70 Argentinian pesos multiple times, which is about 75 cents. I guess I am not sure what else you can buy with that much money where you live, but maybe you should look to get it on a sale, because it’s a game that’s well worth 100+ hours of gameplay, if you explore and do everything there’s to do.
I’m at 180h and not done yet, if you’re looking at actually completing everything in this game I believe you could probably put 500h into it easy.
After a rough week finally my Internet connection is going back to normal, and I have to thank the good vibes you guys and gals gave to me. Thank you.
Really damn annoyed.
The Kingdom Hearts series just got discounted on Epic Games and they were not clear whatsoever, so tons of people cancelled to re-order it, but the back lash made them come out and retweet saying that they would send automatic refund payments of the sale difference back…far too damn late.
This is why Epic Games is not trusted by anyone and now it’s looking like Square Enix is falling to super predatory behavior too.
Falling? lol. I knew them when they were just Square Soft. The Enix bit hasn’t help. Colour me not shocked.
This is just one of the reasons not to pre-order digital goods when there is nothing to gain from it.
There were things I considered to be of worth, but lost out on now because they also released the game 1 day early. So I’m out of that. What a damn shame how this turned out. Now I’m super super frustrated. lol
Why/How are you surprised? Didn’t they already do that with Vampire: The Masquerade 2 and a few others?
I don’t know about the Vampire game, but KH hadn’t even released yet. lol
Yeah, that’s what I meant. That’s exactly the same thing that happened before:
you can buy selected productions at lower prices until June 13. The offer is quite attractive, because apart from the older titles, relatively new games like Metro Exodus were also discounted, and even unreleased items like Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2.
EDIT: And this article talks about other games that were affected:
Oh, weird! I’ve never really seen an unreleased game get a discount before, that wasn’t early access at least. Guess it’s an Epic Games thing, really.
because Epic does business in a uniqueweird way. Instead of having devs either opt in to sales or even determine their own discounts, Epic just universally applies their discount to everything without consideration, because big brains
good/savings for customers, but disrupting effects for devs/game valuation
Waiting to see if Steam’s power of subtraction improve for the next sale.
Well, Humankind has been discounted everywhere, and it’s still not yet released…
I stim, a lot.
