So lets have a crazy COOL giveaway.

Well, I’m from hot land, so every day it’s hot and sunny, average 32° or 30° C (89.6° or 86° F) and it’s enjoyable , the things are the opposite these times, now there’s more rain and some days are cold.
And about some ice cream flavor, I keep it simple

Ah the heat, its not that bad where I am at the moment. Personally I tend to buy those 1 liter juice boxes with acid flavours (love lemon/ginger and lemon/mint ones) and put them on the freezer, then cut off the top and bam! Frozen ice to scrape with a nice taste to it. Dont like ice cream that much because the taste tends to be way too sweet for me but this works like a charm since the juice is not THAT sweet to begin with. Other than that a cold shower every now and then.

The temperatures here on the east coast aren’t that bad on the face of it… but combined with the humidity, ooph, what a killer. I’m from Arizonaland where (Google tells me) it’s 15% percent humidity now. But if I turn around and look at the hygrometer in my house, it’s currently 76%. Sweat doesn’t work here. Also no AC in my house, so upstairs gets a bit uncomfortable at times…

But I’m still determined to go on three walks a day. When I step outside of the house, it’s two ice cubes in my mouth and a big, silver golf umbrella over my shoulder. Half my neighbors think I escaped from the looney bin, the other half… well, I might be starting an umbrella trend.

It’s always hot from where I live, so I’m kinda used to it (Even though I’ve been here for only about a year lol). I think I didn’t eat any ice cream for the last month at least, now I want some! Joining the “hot all-year-round” club here. A floor fan barely does anything in this heat and the rain lately hasn’t lasted long enough for it to feel cold during the night. Besides the obvious cold showers to cool off, I often drink something cold (ie. juice, water, chocolate milk, or soda) and pair it a nice cold slice of cake (or ice cream and donuts) when available.

I haven’t had any popsicles for quite some time now, but those would sometimes do the trick. Of course, since they’re often small or thin you’d need a mouthful of them to actually do anything in this heat.

Thankfully today the weather has been changing but before it I had to deal with the hotness which is usual here in Rio de Janeiro. By the way, we’re in winter here, and next month we’ll have spring, which will probably come with more heat.

I usually resort to the loud air conditional we have here and also the fans to deal with such heat. Oh, and of course a good ol’ ice cream which comes in small pots.
I usually don’t stay around in my room to use my PC during daytime, only going upstairs when it’s the end of the evening because it’s too much hot to stay there, with the sun rays going straight in the direction of my room. Sometimes I just turn on my A/C and stay there anyway.

Got to say, getting notifications @me confused me. “What did I do now?” Because I normally I did “something bad” if I get multiple notifications on any platform. Pleasant surprise it was people thanking me. You’re welcome and good luck.

How I kept cool? The air conditioning is on all the time. Sometimes it is not enough. Cooking any meal pushes the temperature too high. Ceiling fans blowing max speed. Lots of cold juices to drink. But when none of this is enough, I do this extreme action. I de-robe, hop in the shower, turn on cold water, freeze for 5 mins, hop out, no towel dry, put on clothes. My damp clothes and lowered body temperature gives me a good 30 mins to an hour of being cold before getting hot again. And my electric bill is too high.

Considering my area is technically summer for a good chunk of the day, living near the Equator and all, it is something I deal with more often. As for me placing a fan near me+occasionally drinking cold water (or a soft drink, no preference) is usually a nice way for me to beat the heat.

It rained recently so the temperatures aren’t that bad, but I rely on my air conditioner all the time. I also store all my drinks and a lot of ice in the fridge. They do wonders when I want to cool myself down on a scorching day.
