The time has started to earn today’s Trading Card via queue. To answer earlier question on how many cards could be earned so far, here is the message I get after my queue today:
“You’ve completed your queue and have unlocked 13 event trading cards!”
EDIT: I also got a bunch of cards at the start of the event by creating badges (I had been waiting for an event). Those cards are not included in the above count. In case you didn’t know, creating a badge during an event will earn you one event Trading Card. Also, if you sell your cards, they tend to sell for a bit more near the start of the event.
I hope you have so much fun with Valheim! Truly a gem. I put 80 hours in before I had to actually force myself to stop, so I wouldn’t be burnt out when the rest of the content drops. lol wonderful game, have fun!
@cacronia Yeah I’ve read your status. I suggest that next time you follow @Danacscott’s example and write down your recovery code somewhere so you can access Steam without too much hassle.
@Rhyagelle Thanks, I will. I’ve watched a video about it and in the end I decided to get it over Mech Warrior 5, which’ll give some more time before buying.
This game reminds me a lot from Minecraft but more realistic, and of course I’ll install some mods to spice it up.
If anyone liked (or perhaps even enjoyed) Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy, I recently stumbled on this: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1261820/Kernmantle/
It’s got a free demo available, so you can check out if it’s for you. Personally I very much enjoy the game’s visuals, sound and level design and overall feel, even though the dev is absolutely a sadist - the game could have twice or even thrice as many checkpoints and it would still be very hard! I haven’t beaten the demo yet, but I’m definitely grabbing it. Also, looks like the full game should be a little bit easier than the alpha demo, so maybe I’ll have better luck, though I’m still gonna try to beat the demo’s original difficulty.
Clearly the right choice, I’m very much enjoying the new level cap and permanent cartel event myself. I mean I guess you could do the other two, or none, but the cartel OST is just chef’s kiss.
So I’ve been having fun with Grim Dawn. A lot of stuff I simply do not get, as it hasn’t been explained yet, but the combinations I can achieve with powers and skills is a lot of fun. I’m a soldier but with augmented weaponry, I can caste epic af fireballs and do cleave wave damages.
I’m still a bit concentrated on FFXIV while I got a sub, so the time I spend gaming outside of that is limited, but I can see this game carrying me to 100hrs at the very least. Which is, of course, insane value for $6.
Anyhow…
I wanted to make a recommendation in case people are still looking before the sale ends tomorrow.

@delenn13 (and anyone else that loves Peggle), I just stumbled on this. Free Peggle on Steam, that is not included in Steam’s “Free to Play” category, and it’s only 22MB download and the description says “exclusively themed with art and sounds from The Orange Box” (Half-Life etc):
