No, I’m not recommending 24, I haven’t seen it so I can’t comment. As for shows I don’t really have much to recommend, as I generally prefer movies than TV series. So don’t expect much great choices here:

  • DC Superhero Girls: I 'am recommending the newer one done by Lauren Faust, not the other one. You’ll know which is which because the newer one has an artstyle that is actually appealing and interesting to look at. Considering its concept I was surprised as to it actually working out well. Haven’t seen much but it’s a cute distraction.
  • Looney Tunes Cartoons (2020): the new ones so far looks to be promising, hell that’s where I got my current pfp. It will be out for HBO Max but a few have been uploaded to YouTube to check out.
  • It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia: another show I didn’t watch much but the ones I’ve seen are really funny, though I’m sure some of you have seen it at this point.
  • Courage the Cowardly Dog: it’s more of a comedy and less of a thriller, more so horror, but the cartoonish nature combined with terrors help it stand out amongst horror for families (on TV anyways). Definitely more tolerable and entertaining than those PG-13 horror movies Hollywood loves to pump out due to low cost.

Not a lot of things I recommend personally but they interest me. I narrowed it down to your preferences although I am aware a lot of it is skewed in animation from Warner Bros and Cartoon Network in particular. Thanks for this giveaway.

A couple of excellent but not very well known TV shows I’d recommend:
Comedy - Coupling (the British series from 2000)
Psychological Thriller - Black Mirror

I would like to recommend some anime though:

Psychopass is a great psychological anime  It is set in a world where cameras are able to identify your “threat level” - basically if you were about to commit a crime. This helps prevent a lot of crime from happening and you follow a new cop who has joined the force after she graduated. It’s one of my favourites

Nichijou is my ultimate favourite anime. It is confusing and ridiculous, but I find it quite amusing. It’s about some girls who go to high school, a 7 year old professor, a girl robot and a talking cat.

Death note is pretty great if you haven’t seen it. One punch man is also amazing (funny and full of action). There’s pleeenty more I could recommend but I will leave with those few :sunflower:

Thank you for the giveaway! :sunflower:

I think it may be considered a cartoon but Final Space is a fantastic series to watch. The show has a mix of comedy and serious moments that not gonna lie made me cry.

A show I would recommend is Kill la Kill. It’s an anime, it’s funny, and it’s raunchy. And I would second @eliaviaene’s comment about Cowboy Bebop. Amazing show. Wish they would put it on a streaming service or something. I don’t watch tv shows a whole lot anymore so I’m like, let’s pick something that’s a little of everything, I guess besides the psychological thriller. Another show I would recommend is Neon Genesis Evangelion. It’s an anime as well, but it’s got a more serious tone to it. Don’t watch the netflix version if you can help it. They changed the voice actors. But it was too late for me to switch so it’s not like it’s bad acting. Quite good actually. So pick whatever version you want. I can still recommend quite a bit, but I would have to look at a backlog of shows I used to watch. I’ll let everyone else chime in instead.

Thank you for the giveaway , not entering though .

About shows to watch? Well i was never into Anime much and i think i havent watched any in 5 or 6 years now but ones i remember watching and enjoying : Black Lagoon , Afro Samurai, Samurai Champloo ( minus the soundtrack lol ) , Cowboy Beboop , Monster . And well new Castlevania on netflix but i dont think it’s anime or anything , just a anmated show.

Last regular TV Show i’ve watched and enjoyed were Outsider,Mandalorian,Witcher,Watchmen etc. I’m way too picky with my tv shows so i dont end up watching a lot of them.

Not comedy but I tried to think of something psychological. Honestly, I just tried to find something that most people wouldn’t have seen. It’s a “classic” kinda. Hopefully it is new to you and you can at least enjoy the old anime art style.

Also, don’t forget to enable subtitles/closed captions.

Not entering but I’ll recommend GANTZ if you have not seen that yet, or as we talked about it in another thread recently “When they cry Higurashi” if you like psychological thrillers you’ll probably like that one. Shiki or Another might kick you in all the right places too.
