Speaking of NFS: Most Wanted...

I was looking to see if there was a GoG version somewhere, and it turns out, that GoG never grabbed the game. Like, I don’t get it. The classic NFS games would be perfect for the platform.

The 2005 or 2012 version?

Even EA doesn’t sell the older NFS games on Origin.
I think one of the reasons for that are licences.
Some car licences might already have expired. The same for lots of songs in those games.
So EA would have to renew those or remove them, and they might not bother with that.

you’ll find there are many games GoG didn’t “grab”
main reason being obviously publisher don’t always want to allow their games to be drm free

2005 version. The version most people actually want. The original Black Edition.

Pretty sure GoG has the 2012 remaster, and I know that there are a few NFS games that are on the platform like Undercover and ProStreet (can’t run either of the two).

Actually, gog has no nfs games. Origin and Steam is where most of them are.

Huh. Interesting. So, I guess the GoG installers for NFS Undercover and ProStreet that I have are not real? Weird. Maybe I’ll get DuckDuckGo looking up ‘fake GoG installers’.

I guess so. I never saw any nfs getting released on GOG.

I also went up looking for it on Gogdb (the equivalent of Steamdb for GOG) and there are no records of any nfs games there.
