You can perhaps save the credits and put it to use for something on your own wishlist. 
Just have to make sure you buy it before the Steam sale is up, otherwise you may be shelling out a bit more than intended!

Steam gift cards aren’t for sale here. Well, at the very beginning; I did order one from a local online delivery service [who had to order it on amazon or whatever i guess], and I had to pay way extra just to be able to get it; like i paid $25 for $20 steam credit, but it was worth it, cuz that gave me access to the community market and trading, and I’ve made well over 1k since, probably close to 1.5k now, if not more

yup yup; I know that’s hard to believe, but I started trading with just 2 dropped cs go cases, and i built up to have an inventory worth about $700; I even got scammed a $30 ak vulcan i had lent a friend (used to lend him skins for over a year and then suddenly he decided to keep this, at least he didnt take my knife…) and i lost two knives worth about $400 together to a website that was set up as a scam in itself (was rly well done and seemed legit…), but i came back from it
u see, ppl didnt rly want their cases cuz it costs a $2.5 key to open them, and back in the day cases actually had some value, going from 0.5 to 10 $. so i had a simple formula, lol, I would offer a person 70% of their case value in skins, and ppl would do it cuz they didnt want the case but wanted skins, and then i would sell the case on market, which takes 13%, and rebuy the same skins, and thus keep the extra 17% profit
i even told several ppl exactly how i did it, but apparently ppl just kept thinking this wasn’t rly achievable, and so i just kept going and going and they didnt
this doesnt work anymore though, cases used to go down to 0.03 once they dropped too often, and then they would start dropping rarely and the price would go back up, so there always were cases worth trading for (sellable i mean, u cant rly sell a 0.03 case cuz there’s too many, and even if u do, u lose 66% of its value to Valve); when i sensed that it was over, i simply got out and moved to market trading only, and i’m still doing fine…

nope, and sadly i dont want to say, though it’s not hard to figure out; the market for cs go items was so wide i didnt care about saying it back then, but what im doing now is quite sensitive, though the market is huge too, i focus on specific items, and a single person could destroy me if they wanted too just by competing with me on the very things im dealing in, lol, and i know that’s not yr intention, but i just cant say

the thing is, my inventory now is worth well more than my heights during cs go, and im making good profit, but it’s value can easily disappear overnight, what i do strongly depends on continuously buying what i sell, and so a lot of profit is continuously reinvested, sometimes even more than what i make, and that means that except for my steam wallet, it could suddenly all be worthless if the market decides to make it so

Jk, done the similar thing with u, though in form of trading card so yeah the profit might not be the best but at least i only started with 5$ and making quite profit by now
too bad sometimes my gambling addiction kick in and i will randomly purchase badge set that i think contain nice emoticon and wallpaper
