All I can add is that probability is just that - a possible chance. You need a 100% chance to win for sure. 75% makes it more likely, but still not guaranteed. So yes, wining something with a small percentage does happen (lottery winners, ha ha).
Raffle results I just did surprised me too, but then, I never liked Statistics as a subject. Meh.
