For some reason for the last couple days I keep getting pop ups like those one finds on gossip sites filled with ads. Is this an issue with the website or with my computer? If its my computer, is there an ad or pop up blocker I can install?

install both adblock plus and ublock and u should never see any ad again; its definitely not this website though

Go here

Grab the free home version (not the business trial) and run it. I’m somewhat doubtful that your issue originates here, so it’s probably some malicious adware or malware on your system.

We don’t have any ads running on the site, so I’d recommend checking your computer.

Remember to do a thorough malware/virus scan of your system, not just use an adblock.
