Holy cow! I scrolled up and saw all the good games they’ve given away. So how does this work? You need the PS+ sub obviously to claim, but do you have them always? Even without a sub?
You get to keep them indefinitely on your account. However, if you want to play them you have to have an active subscription. It’s basically the same as Xbox Live Gold in that respect.
Beforehand everyone with PS+ gets to keep their games and as @ToxicScarecrow said, can access them as long as the subscription is active. But in the new tier system, games seem to cycle out. As far as I know, games in the essentials tier are permanent though.
There are a lot of games coming with this month’s catalogue so I’m making a separate post.

A bonus PS+ game was added for Extra and Premium members, Im assuming its an Easter gift. Must be claimed before April 13th at 02:59 EST (Unless thats just for the 90% off discount for Essential tier members.)

The PS+ Collection was revealed back in October of 2020. But its a good time to reshare it.
I believe it was May; the PS+ collection will no longer be available. So for everyone with a PS5 be sure to claim those games soon.
I actually just checked this the other day and noticed there were a couple I had not added to my collection, so maybe there were a couple that were added or not available for a period time? Always good to double check you have everything before the option to add them goes away!
