Oh. It would be cool if we could pin Topics our-self though…
Then everyone would pin their own topics. It’s probably best left to the devs.

You may not be able to pin, but you can bookmark. If quick access is what you desire in the first place, not just being on top…
Click on the (…) in the topic/post you want to bookmark to open up more options:
Then click on the bookmark symbol to mark it:
Access your bookmarks via your profile drop-down notifications menu:
Voilà:
