OpenTTD is a business simulation game in which players earn money by transporting passengers and cargo via road, rail, water, and air. It is an open-source remake and expansion of the 1995 Chris Sawyer video game Transport Tycoon Deluxe.

Having played many hundreds of hours of OpenTTD and its ancestor TTD, I’m pleased to see it getting more visibility through the popular storefronts. I was lucky to have stumbled upon the OpenTTD project while searching for something else; if I hadn’t, I might have only known of it today. 
Watching your vehicles scuttle about for your profit is oddly hypnotic and that jazzy music will stay in your ear long after you’ve quit.
