Things are bad and I have a friend in the States that has lost all her benefits. Please post help site and any info you have…regardless of country…
Also this…211 is a program run by United Way + other agencies to help people in need with various things - more so than other agencies. She can call 211 - or look them up online - they are funded by state and donations

If you need some search terms to look through.
Food pantries, food warehouse, food bank, food distribution, food service program, walk-in meals, low cost meals, co-ops, meal program, community garden, holiday meals, Thanksgiving basket, Christmas basket, etc.
But honestly, call or visit the website of their state’s department of human services to see everything that is available in their zip code.

Good idea, @GDBringer

Make sure you use a decent Search engine like Duck duck go or https://www.startpage.com so you don’t get flooded with ads.

Those sites work. My friend from NC who has spina bifida got a box given to them and an offer to check back soon if they need more.

Also another thing people are doing is calling churches and asking for help. They said the synagogues, mosques and black churches are the best places to call. They said don’t even waste your time with white churches… Makes me sick to my stomach.
